[00:00:00] Speaker 1: I am so excited to share this new quality of life update that we've added to the editor because it has already changed my editing. We have just now added transcripts in your timeline. So that means that you can see word for word what's being said when right in your timeline. So let me show you it and then show you a few useful use cases for it. So over here I'm in my editor and you'll now see that when you zoom in it will show you on your timeline exactly what is being said when. So that transcript is right in your timeline. So the obvious reason that this is amazing is because that means that I could really zoom in here and let's say that this is a filler word. I want to highlight it and mute it or delete it. Maybe I want to start right when they say one of. I can just go over here and see the waveform and the word that that's going to start. And there's really no more guessing on am I clicking on the right spot to be able to cut the right word. It's all right there. Another thing that I want to show you is that when you zoom in on your timeline, the other really cool use case that I just used with this is I wanted to create a hook out of different moments in my episode. So what I usually do when I'm creating a hook is I'm just going to go to the end right here, and this is just for me. I always put empty section and I'll just create a little bit of separation between my main video and my hook, but I want to make it myself. And let's say that I want to take this part. Copy it. I'll go to the end and I'll paste it. And then I want to. Oh, this is also a really good moment. Let's say. over here. I'm going to copy that and paste it over here. Go to the end, paste it. And so I'll do this a few more times. I will go through and find some little quotes that I want to put in there, copy and paste it. Maybe this is a clip that I want to make that has some moments, some key moments from the episode. So I'm just going to go through and put that at the end. And then you see that I have like a bunch of these little chunks. I used to have to go through and click one by one to say, okay, where's the part I spoke about this? Where's this part I spoke about that? Now, because of the timeline, the transcript, I can really zoom in and say, okay, here's where they talked about the Discord community. Great. I want to put that second. Here's where this first clip started. So you can really, just from a bird's eye view, see exactly what each clip is about. So not only is it great for those kind of granular edits, but if you're making your own clips, hooks, anything like that, this really helps you understand what is being said when. So. Transcript in the timeline is now here. Go crazy. Check it out in your editor. I'm really excited to see how much easier it makes all of your workflows.

Arow Summary
A new editor quality-of-life update adds word-for-word transcripts directly to the video timeline. When users zoom in, they can see exactly what is being said at each point alongside the waveform, making it easier to locate, cut, mute, or delete filler words and begin clips at precise phrases. The feature also helps creators assemble hooks, highlight reels, and clips from multiple moments: after copying selected segments to a separate area of the timeline, they can quickly scan the visible transcript to identify each segment’s topic and reorder clips without repeatedly playing them back. The speaker encourages users to try the feature in the editor and expects it to streamline editing workflows.
