+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Psst. Lawyers, are you ready for savings but you're not ready to take the jump to speech recognition yet? Well, there's another option out there for you and it's called Digital Dictation. It's like a happy medium between old school transcription and speech recognition. Here are three of the best digital dictation softwares out there right now. Duke, we're going to tell them. First up, we have Speech Exec Pro by Philips. Link in typists and authors, it's a modern dictation system. Lawyers can dictate using a traditional voice recorder or a handheld microphone and send it to their typist within seconds. It is all fully encrypted and fully secure and allows you to set up personalised workflows between you and your team. Next up, we have another Philips offering called Speech Live. Think of it as the sister more snazzier version of Speech Exec. It does the same thing in terms of the dictation and transcription but it's a lot more advanced and it has many more added benefits. Just a few being that number one, it's cloud hosted so it offers a lot more flexibility of where it's used and how it's used. It also has its own smartphone app which saves users on hardware costs such as the microphones and the voice recorders. And lastly, it also offers inbuilt speech recognition too. So it's actually a hybrid solution and offers you the best of both worlds should you be ready to try speech recognition later down the line. And lastly, we have the Olympus Dictation Management System. This option too allows for a handheld mic, a voice recorder or a smartphone app to capture your dictations. It isn't cloud based so it will need to be hosted on your own servers but it has excellent quality in terms of the audio, especially with the hardware. This option is brilliant because it gives you three different workflow options. The classic, the automatic and the advanced. So you can pick which one best works for you and implement it into your firm. That's it. There are our top three dictation platforms. Ultimately, the end goal with either of these platforms is to just give you more time for client facing work and to process more billable jobs. That's it. But if you're not sure which one of these is right for you and your firm, then just drop me a DM. I'll be more than happy to talk you through it. Peace. Microsoft Mechanics www.microsoft.com
