+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hello creators. Today we're going to be talking about sound effects. I'm going to be showing you my top five sound effects that you can get for free from the YouTube studio library. If you're not familiar with the YouTube studio then you can click your profile picture up here in the top right corner and go to the YouTube studio and then from there you're going to go on this left-hand side here and scroll down to the audio library. From there you'll have a big selection of free music that you can use here for your videos and then the selection of sound effects here. These sound effects are the ones that I use most often in my videos. We're going to start with the pop sound effect. Anytime I use an overlay and it just sort of pops in without any animation I'll use this sound effect. A lot of the time I will use it to accentuate a word I'm saying or like with a clip art or something else. When you type in pop it doesn't come up at first you just scroll down a little bit and it's right here it's this one that says pop it's really short and it's in the cartoon category. When I play it it sounds like this. Next up we've got the rake whoosh. So I'm going to type in rake here and it's going to bring up this rake swing whoosh close and whoosh haul. So I'll use both of these for similar effects and I'll usually use this with the offset transition in Movavi or you can use it for any sort of swipe transition like where your screen swipes to the side quickly. It sounds like this. So there's the quick one it's really easy to cut that one in there. This next one has a sort of back and forth whoosh. It's got two different kind of sounding whooshes so if you're using them like back to back then you can have a different sort of tone on them. So it sounds like this. Okay next up I use this tweeter effect in anytime I use the glitch effect in my videos and it sounds like this. You can use it for any sort of glitch effect and or transition and it really makes a huge difference instead of just doing the glitch without the sound effect. So this one here is similar to the rake whoosh. This one is a swoosh. So some of these are tricky to find if you're looking for a certain sound because you it's literally it's like swoosh you know what do you call that but this is swoosh. There are a couple different swoosh sounds. The one that I use most often is from the foley category just like that and I'll use it if I am moving clipart in from the side or the bottom or the top and it sort of slides in. I'll use that swoosh sound effect. I'll also use it for transitions that swipe across like there's movement with like a screen or something coming across sometimes this can work well. So there's another swoosh I don't use as often. That's a little sort of longer swoosh but you can use all of those sort of interchangeably for different swooshy moments right. And finally I like to use this water sound effect it's called light splashing of water. This has some different water sounds but I'll just cut the usually this will be first few seconds of it. So you can hear the individual splashes and I'll just cut one of those splashes for the transition and it makes such a huge difference when you add that second layer and that that next level of immersiveness for the viewer and it really keeps them engaged when they're watching your videos to improve your audience retention. Those are my top five sound effects that you can get for free from the audio library in your YouTube studio. These are all copyright free and can be used on YouTube in your videos and make such a huge difference and will really really improve your editing. Thanks for watching be sure to like and subscribe for more video editing tips and we'll see you in the next video.
