[00:00:01] Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Jordan Turk. I'm a practicing attorney and the director of education at Smokeball Legal Technology. Now, as I was looking forward into the coming year, I was thinking more and more about what we as attorneys need to learn for our practices. So what skills do I think are going to be the most valuable to learn in this new year? To me, this means a few things. One, the Constitution, specifically what's happening with it, and the rule of law. Legal ethics, how to not commit malpractice, right, or get a grievance filed against us. Deposition strategies, I think this is going to be the new frontier, specifically about non-stenographic AI depositions, right, completely eliminating that, to me, unnecessary cost or expense. I do think that's kind of the wave of the future. And then legal writing. Law school only taught us so much. I think we can all benefit from honing our writing skills. So those are just a few of my thoughts. What do you all think are going to be the most critical things for attorneys to learn in the new year?
