Call Support
+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hi, this is Ryan. I'm a software engineer at DeepGram, and today I'm going to be showing you how you can use DeepGram to transcribe your Genesys calls. So let's say your company uses Genesys to manage its call center. In that case, when a customer calls in to speak to one of your agents, that call is going to flow through your Genesys org. We can then use a Genesys protocol called AudioHook to share that call audio with DeepGram. That'll allow DeepGram to transcribe the call in real time and send the results to a callback URL that you set up in advance. So that's what we're aiming to achieve here. And now let's hop over to Genesys so I can show you how to set this up in your own org. So now I'm in my Genesys org. I'm going to go to Admin. I'm going to go to Integrations. I'm going to add a new integration, AudioHook, and I'm going to name this integration DeepGram. I'm going to go to Configuration. I'm going to specify the connection URI as our integration URI. And then in advance, this is where you can configure the request to DeepGram. I'm going to say model in general. I'm going to say tier Nova is our best tier. And I'm going to put the callback where the transcripts will be received as this server that I have listening in another tab. And all this is going to do is print out the transcripts that come in so we can see them. And finally, I'm going to go to Credentials and I'm going to put in my DeepGram API key. I'm not going to show that because you should never show anyone your API key. And I'm going to say save. And now we're ready to activate it. And it really is that easy. And at this point, every call that comes through our call center is going to automatically generate transcriptions of DeepGram. So we can prove this by calling in. I'm going to call in from my phone. And there's the call. I'm going to answer it. And now I'm talking into the call. And we can see the transcripts coming in in real time. There it is. It's exactly what I'm saying, which is what we like to see. And if I hang up the call, transcripts stop coming. We get a metadata object at the end. So yeah, that's it. It really is that easy. So if you're a Genesys user and you want fast, accurate, and cheap transcripts, please reach out to us. We would love to see if we can help. Yeah.
