+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Isaac Rodriguez, I'm a business consultant, I want to talk to you today on what is stakeholder communications. Well, let's talk about what a stakeholder is. A stakeholder is an individual or a company that is affected by what your company does. So some examples of stakeholders are employees, stockholders, and the community in which the company resides. So stakeholder communications would have to do with how it is that you communicate with each one of the stakeholders that are affected by your business's operations. So with your employees, you could communicate with them in a number of different ways. It could be through a loudspeaker, as simple as that. It could be through a newsletter. It could be through a memo. For your stockholders, typically you communicate with the stockholders with annual reports. And that will tell the stockholders what's happening with the company and whether or not you're making money and operating it properly. In the community, you can communicate with the community as a stakeholder of your business by participating in local events. Perhaps there's a walk for some local charity, and that's a way that you could sponsor and communicate with your community that your company is dedicated to the community in which it does business. I'm Isaac Rodriguez, and that's stakeholder communications.
