Zoom Launches Built-In Webinar Certification and Credits (Full Transcript)

CLE credits, continuing education, proof of compliance, these have always lived outside Zoom in a messy mix of spreadsheets and manual steps and follow-up emails. This slows organizers down and it frustrates attendees who just want their certificate. So we built a simpler way, certification from Zoom, a built-in way to award certificates automatically right inside Zoom. Here's how it works. Webinars Plus and Events customers can turn on certification under Advanced Features. Start by setting your completion criteria. You can require any combination of minimum watch time, poll participation, or content access like downloading required materials. Hosts can award full credit for completing all criteria or configure partial credits, letting attendees earn based on what they actually complete. You can award up to 20 credits total and can control what each attendee action is worth. Next, hosts can design their certificate. Customize the default template with your brand colors, logo, and text style, or upload your own. Drag and position dynamic fields like the attendee name, event title, and completion date. The preview window helps you ensure that everything looks exactly right before your session goes live. During the event, Zoom tracks each attendee's progress in the background. The moment someone meets the criteria, full or partial, they'll see a congratulations message and can download their certificate immediately. You can also choose to automatically send a follow-up email with their certificate link. After the event, the Analytics tab shows exactly who earned a certificate, how many credits they received, how long they watched, and which criteria they completed. Certification gives you an easy and professional way to deliver proof of completion without leaving Zoom or adding another tool to your workflow.
