Speaker 1: In this video tutorial, I'm going to share with you five basic techniques on how to convert your sound or audio into text. So it's very easy to convert your audio into text. Maybe whether you've recorded a YouTube video, you want to convert the content of it into a text or you want to translate it into text for you to upload it as subtitles, you can do that very easily. So I've got five basic methods that you can do that starting from what kind of system you're using. For my own case, I'm using Mac operating system, so everything is going to be on Mac. And if you want me to specifically make one for Windows, please type in the comment section, Windows, you want Windows techniques as well. So for today, I want to show you the five techniques. The first one is you just open your Mac, come to your system preferences over here, and you just click on it. And over here, you can just come all the way to keyboard, you just click on keyboard, and you have this option, and you can move all the way to dictation. Okay, so dictation, you enable dictation, just turn it on over here. And this is the shortcut to get to the dictation. And you have to specify language from here. If you want to add any language, you can add language, but I prefer English United Kingdom, I just select it. And this is the shortcut, hit the Ctrl key twice, and it's going to start. So once you set this, you just close and go to anywhere you want to dictate. For example, I want to dictate here, let me delete this and let's say I want to dictate on this Microsoft Word document. So all I need is to just hit the control twice and you can see hello and welcome to Epic Mentorship. This tutorial is about how to dictate or convert your audio into a text. Please feel free to give it a try because it's interesting and you will actually find a lot of benefits because this is AI detection. Okay, it will easily detect from your voice and you can see the translation is quite interesting and is fast and accurate. You can still see everything is intact. You can use this and you can get your transcription very nicely and you just copy it and just go ahead and paste it in your YouTube translation and you can see it you can it can automatically synchronize and have it for your content. So this is the third method. Now the fourth method that I have for us is on a website. It's also completely free. It's called dictation.io. You can just go to your browser and just come to dictation.io and it's going to bring you over here. Okay, type with your voice in any language. Okay, so launch dictation by just coming here. Uses magic of speech recognition to write emails and documents in Google Chrome. So the only criteria to this is you have to be on Google Chrome. If you're not on Google Chrome, this is not going to work. So you just click on launch dictation, and it's going to start the platform right away. So you can see the description over here, you can select the language you can choose from any language, I usually choose English United Kingdom. And you can click the microphone icon over here to kickstart your speech transcription, or you can just come down here and say start, and it's going to start immediately. So you have just pay attention to these features at the bottom over here. You can copy, you can save, you can publish, you can tweet directly from here, and you can email, or you can print, or you can clear, which means to delete everything and have it just like so. So you have be mindful of the editing, text editing features over here. You can bold, you can utilize, you can underline and do all sorts of things. You can change coloration and many, many more. This is the fill color and you have the alignment tool. You can align center, left, right, and you have all sorts of bulleting points along the way. So just feel free to explore it and see what you can do. So for you to start, make sure you select language and you can hit this icon to start, or you can just come over here and click on start. So you can see it over here. All you need to do is to start for free, you can log in, and you can check out the pricing if you want over here. This is not completely free, but for individual just getting started, you can use it for free, just click on this and you just have to log in with your account and then start creating content. Alright, so you have the option to log in with your email with your email account over here, or you can log in with Google account if you have any, or you can use your Microsoft account to log in. So let's say I'm using my Google account to just log in and get to choose the account. So I'm going with this, you have to allow access. Now you have to specify how do you plan to use Otter. This will help us give you the best start. So meeting notes or transcribe files or other you can say transcribe files and just go ahead and say next. Okay, so here you are on the platform where you can transcribe audio and video, you can do both cases. If you have a video, you can just drag and drop or if you have an audio, you can just easily drag and drop it also and you have it transcribed within minutes. Okay, so you can see we can browse files, or you can just go ahead and do it manually, you can just close on these and then you can start recording, you can come to this drop down, add other assistance if you have. This can be able to record multiple voices and transcribe them accordingly. So you can easily use it. It's fantastic. And it's nice. You can import directly from here as well. And if you want to start recording, you just hit on the start recording button over here and it will just start recording. You have to of course allow your mic access.
