Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome back to my channel. My name is Ali and in today's video, I'm going to be talking about how to translate and transcribe your audio files offline on your personal computer without having an internet connection. So this is a new app, it's called Buzz and it's powered by OpenAI. Basically OpenAI is the same company that is doing chat GBT. So OpenAI is also created a new service that is called OpenAI Whisper. It's basically used to translate and transcribe audio files. But today we're going to use that service offline on our personal computer without the need for internet connection. So one of the main features that we're going to be talking about in today's video is the real time transcription. So this tool allows you to transcribe and translate your audio files offline in real time. This service basically supports OpenAI Whisper as well as the Hugging Face transcription service. It is 100% free. So without any further ado, let's jump right in and I'm going to show you how to download it on your PC and start using it. All right guys. So the first thing you want to do is you want to search for Buzz AI Whisper. So this is the one we want. So I'm going to link the link in the description down below. So check it out from there. So I'm going to scroll down until you see here the transcribe and translate audio offline. And here it features real time transcription and translation from your computer's microphone to text. And here is a demo if you want to watch in your own time. And here's as well, another one. So to download it on your Windows or Mac, all you got to do is to go to this installation right here. So you can do it manually or you just basically go to install the latest version. So you just click on that. And here is the version right here. It's 0.7.1. This is the latest version as of today's recording. So what you want to do is you want to download the one that is suitable for your operating system. In this case, I'm using Windows. So you just click on this and it's 167 megabytes and then download it. So all you got to do is click on this and it's going to start downloading and just follow the steps to install it. Pretty simple. Once done. So this is the app. You want to open it up and then you click on, if you want to record live right here, as you can see here, we have transcribe or translate. You can use it to transcribe and translate. And if you want to translate, you can detect the language that you want to translate to. And here you can use two models. As of now, we have the whisper as well as the hugging face. And here we have those models. We have tiny base, small, medium, and large. In this case, base is enough for now. And I'm going to test this out for you. So as of now, I have just started recording. Hello everybody. This is a test one, two, three, one, two, three. So it takes a little bit of time to start showing the transcription in real time. As you can see right here, it's not perfect, but if you want to download the other models right here, the large, medium, and small, they will do a lot better. Okay. Now let's go to the second option, which is transcribing the other way. So you can just click on new transcription here, the plus icon right here, and then you will select the audio file that you want to transcribe or translate. So in this case, I have this video right here as a demo, and then you select whether you want to transcribe or translate it just the same as the way you did for the live recording. And here we have the model that you want to select. And here I have downloaded the base model already. Click on run, and that is going to take some time to start in progress right here. So as you can see right here, it's taking some time to start progressing. All right, guys. So it has completed a transcription already. It has taken me maybe 30 seconds. Let's just double click on it to open the transcription, just like you can see right here. If you want to export it, you can export in three option. We have text, SRT and VTT. So we just select text and you want to select the place you want to send it to. And here you can see the text right here. If you want to select SRT, it's going to come with the timing, just like you see right here, and then you can sync it with your video. All right, guys. So this is how you use Buzz app on your computer to translate and transcribe in real time, offline on your computer. I hope this was helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video. If you find this helpful, please don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Thank you so much. And I'll see you in the next one. Peace and love.
