[00:00:00] Speaker 1: You do not need an expensive camera to make great videos. As someone who's been making videos for over a decade, here's some of my favorite affordable cameras for video content. First is your phone. Honestly, it's still one of the best cameras for social media. The quality is great. The convenience is unmatched. And if this is what you have, you're not behind at all. But if you want a little bit of an upgrade, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is incredible. It's stabilized, easy to use and feels like a creator camera without the learning curve. If you're not one to edit much and love more of that film style look, the Fujifilm X-M5 is a great beginner option that gets you into interchangeable lenses and has fantastic color straight out of camera, reminiscent of that nostalgic film look. But speaking of colors, the Canon R100 also has amazing colors that gets you a little more advantage in autofocus compared to Fujifilm and at nearly half the price. The true king when it comes to autofocus, though, is Sony. The ZV-E10 is a great option for the price and will always have you in focus as a solo creator. I've used Sony cameras for years, and trust me, it's worth a look. But if you want to be more of a filmmaker and don't care about the best autofocus, a very underrated option is the Panasonic GH5, a legend when it was released and super affordable as a used option. It also gives you some more advanced recording specs that will get you ready to use cameras like this Blackmagic Pixis cinema camera here. But that might be a little too advanced for now.
