Speaker 1: It's cool to just pop up from the bottom. Guys, I have something really cool for you today. I'm a little excited to share it with you, because we've only used it internally so far and never shared it. So there are actually two apps running on my cell phone that I use more often than ChatGPT, Perplexity or anything else. Even more often than WhatsApp, I just said that. More often than WhatsApp. This video is for Apple users, iPhone, iOS and so on. macOS, it also works in parallel on the computer. One app is called TapTalk and it works like this. You tap on the back of the phone, you just start talking, you can tell a concept, summarize a meeting. And you could even switch to English in Continuum English. Then you press the screen again, then this recording disappears. Imagine you're on LinkedIn and you just want to answer a comment. And assuming the text you just had, it's supposed to be a comment or a post. Go up, have the text in the intermediate version, set it up and have a error-free text. I started with a sentence, but then switched to English. Conversely, you can use WhisperText. This is the second application I've built into my phone. WhisperText works in the other direction. Assuming you have a WhatsApp voice message that is 8 minutes long and you think, I really don't have time to listen to it. Then you go to WhatsApp, take a voice message, go to share and get it displayed at the bottom. Share to WhisperText. Then the same thing happens again. People, what's going on? And you get the complete transcript of this message, with which you can say, hey, listen, this is a message from my mother, which is 8 minutes long. I just want to know if there's anything to do or something critical. Please take it out of me. I'll send it to you as a prompt and you have the points. No shit, works error-free. Why should you do that? In fact, we spend 3 to 4 hours a day on the phone with data input. That means we type something into the phone and we are now much slower in typing than in speaking. 40 words per minute versus 120 to 160 words per minute. That means if you speak, you are always faster. And this is not the first video I'm doing about it. I said that many years ago.
Speaker 2: Why do you actually still type in the year 2018? Give me your iPhone, MP's iPhone. Both have it built in. Let's see how that works.
Speaker 1: There is one problem. The error rate was so high so far that people said, I just have to correct this word and there are errors in it. And he didn't really recognize that. And now he somehow spoke in English, technical terms. That means it never really worked. And then I noticed something in the ChatGPT app down here. If you use that, it always works error-free. I used it for a long time and copied the text over because it was so good. I formulated emails with it, WhatsApp messages, concepts. And we at Blackboard usually assume that there must be a better solution for it. Is there maybe an application? Can't you have a mic built into the keyboard? And then we did the search and found a developer. He published a shortcut on his page. Public. Giacomo Menzi. Many thanks at this point. Shout out. Goes to his page. Built a shortcut. These shortcuts run on your device. That means this is from Apple. And this workflow now does nothing but activate the microphone, listen in and then send an application to OpenAI. Whisper. And the cool thing is, Giacomo Menzi built it so that you can simply enter the API key. I'll show you what it is, which is linked to your OpenAI account. That means if you have a company account, that's the key you use for a chatbot anyway. Under GDPR, data protection and so on, you already have an agreement. On keyboard processing and so on. We've changed it up a bit now. We just wanted that if you tap on the back, the microphone starts right away and the text is right in the middle, so that there are no interruptions at all. And that's what the app Taptalk has become. It's available for you to download down here. You can download it. The only thing you have to do is go to the OpenAI page, to platform.openai. Create an account. You already have one with a GDPR account. Create a payment method. It costs nothing in comparison. I paid 25 euros for the whole company this month. That's it. Go up there, create a payment method and then create two API keys. One you use for Taptalk and one you use for WhisperText. These are the two different apps in both directions. The cool thing is, it also runs on macOS. That means you can simply search for Taptalk in the command space, click on it and it starts immediately. And you have a language input in every application you want. E-mail program and so on. What can I say? All I have left is hope. And I really say that with a wink of an eye, that Siri is getting so smart after all these years, that with the new iOS, this language input is already built in so well that you say, we don't need it anymore. However, I don't think that WhatsApp voice messages can be translated and read by Siri. In this respect, you can find a link from Taptalk and a link from WhisperText in the description below. Use your own API key for this. Be careful, never share this shortcut with someone else, because otherwise someone can access your API key. You don't want that. Then you can work with Taptalk. Whether in the company or not, just take a look at it. And if the video helped you, please subscribe to the channel. I love these videos and have been doing it for many, many years. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm happy about the comments, feedback. If you leave a like below. And now let's stay together. Next week I'll really be back in the studio. Honestly, I want my old setup back to record a supercharged Sunday video. In this sense, work faster, then you'll get home faster. .
