Club Meeting Turns Tense as Freshman Raises Serious Concerns About Harassment (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: Alright, great meeting. See you guys next weekend. Uh, execs, stay behind. We can work on that next project. Uh, hello. Uh, do you need something?

Speaker 2: Uh, yeah. Hi, my name's Andrea. I'm a freshman in the club. And, look. I really don't want to cause any drama, um, but one of the older members of the club has been sending me some really weird messages. They'll send me, like, really weird compliments during meetings, and, uh, just this past week, they sent me this drawing. I've tried telling him to stop. That is making me really uncomfortable, but he just keeps drawing me. It's actually very creepy. Um, so yeah. I just thought I'd let you guys know.

Speaker 1: First off, I just want to say, Andrea, thank you so much for sharing that with us. Guys, as president of this club, I just need to say, I am so proud of us right now. What? I couldn't have said it better myself.

Speaker 1: If people know that they can come to us with these serious issues, then we're already doing something right. Well said. So much yes.

Speaker 5: Guys, Andrea trusted us to solve this problem, okay? And that's my takeaway from the, uh, the thing, whatever they were talking about.

Speaker 3: This was a really good exec meeting, guys. Can I just say, leadership for the win? What? Who the fuck even are you? I'm cross-promotional communications liaison. I-

Speaker 2: What? Guys, this is a very serious issue. I can't keep coming to this club if I don't feel safe. Now, you guys are the people responsible for doing something about it. I- Hey. Stop it.
