Speaker 1: This is a walkthrough of the Full Text Review, or FTR, interface. You'll notice that it's a little different than the transcription interface. It's divided into three main sections. Over here we have the entire job broken up line by line. In the middle we have the video, the video controls, and the edit box where we'll make all of our changes. And then on this side we have a tabbed interface. And now by default, if a job doesn't have special guidelines, the help tab will be open when you accept the job. It's just like transcription, there's a button here to send feedback if there's an issue with the job. You have a list of your hotkeys or keyboard shortcuts that you can use. And your sound tag shortcuts that you can type into your edit box over here to get the proper sound tag formatted. Down at the very bottom here, we have what's called version information, but it also gives you your job ID. Now sometimes that gets cut off in your browser, you have to scroll down to find it. Another way to get to it real quick is just use these hide links, and it will collapse a section for you and pull that job ID back up to where you can see it. Okay, next tab here, the settings tab, you can change the number of seconds that the interface will pause while you're making an edit. Only thing to be aware of with this is it doesn't save this change from job to job, so if you want to change that you'll need to change it every time you start a job, so I usually just leave it. Now your stats tab, exactly the same as it was on transcription, it shows you the number of jobs you've done, your average QC score, statistics for a couple weeks running. Then back here to the guidelines tab, now we only have a standards guideline, standard guidelines link right here, but if this job had special guidelines we would see another button right here for the special guidelines. And that's also what, when something pops up at the beginning of a job, sometimes we click and don't really pay attention to it, but here's where you can go to find that and click on it, it will open that pop up again so you can read it again if you need to. And another thing that you can do here is check if the customer has left any specific instructions, sometimes they'll leave the correct spelling of a name, a specific way that they would like their product or their company name formatted, things like that, so I like to come over and look at that. Now, here we have a note for timing workers, but since we're not doing timing right now we don't have to worry about that. OK, the final thing interface wise I wanted to show you before we get into editing is these little tools and icons up here. Now, if you click on this, you'll see that you have time stamps, speaker changes, and clear all. By default, speaker changes is already selected, and what that means is it's showing you the double chevrons over here on this side of the file. Now, it's also showing you speaker changes as these red speaker icons on the other side of the line, but because it's chosen by default I usually don't take it off, I just leave it on there. Another thing that you can choose to show are time stamps, and the time stamps will just show you when the system thinks that a file, a line in the file is starting and stopping, and that becomes useful when you get into longer files and the timing is really messed up, but most of the time for FTR you can just leave that hidden. So, the next little item here is the filter. The filter kind of acts like a search, but unlike the search that's built into your browser, it also isolates the lines that the results are in. In other words, if I want to see every line in this job, let's just choose dreams as an example. If I want to see every line that contains the word dreams, I type in dreams, and it shows me only the lines that contain dreams. And that can be helpful, well, not in the case of dreams obviously, but it can be helpful if you've misspelled a name, but they didn't actually put the name on screen until the end of the file, so instead of having to hunt through the file, if you just put in the way you had been spelling the name here, it will bring up each line so that you can go through individually, you still have to change each one, one at a time, but at least it pulls them out so you won't accidentally miss them. When you're done with that, if you hit the X, it removes the filter and you go back to seeing every line in the job. And then finally, the jump to, this is more useful in much longer files, but if you need to get to a very specific time in the file, this is hours, this is minutes, this is seconds. Two things to be aware of with this is you have to actually be playing the job when you type this in for it to work, and secondly it will take you to the beginning of the nearest line to that time stamp. So if you just type in 5 minutes into the job, it will take you to whatever the closest time stamp is to 5 minutes. Alright, and that is the basics of the interface itself.
