[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Building an AI agent inside of Slack is a lot easier than you think. Let me show you. With the Slack CLI installed, just write the command Slack create agent. Now this simple setup process walks you through everything. First, pick a template. I love using the IT support agent. I think it's a great starting place. Choose your preferred language. Next, choose your LLM provider, give your agent a name, and then you're pretty much done. Now CD into the app directory that you just made and type the command Slack run. This will spin up a local version of your agent that you can use to test your application, see how it looks, and make changes right away. Now you will need to provide your large language models API key, but after that you're all set to get started with your agent. Now this is just a template. When you customize your agent is when it actually starts to become valuable for you and your team. Head on over to slack.dev to learn more.

Arow Summary
The speaker explains that creating an AI agent in Slack can be done quickly using the Slack CLI. Users run a command to create an agent, select a template such as an IT support agent, choose a programming language and LLM provider, and name the agent. After navigating to the new app directory, they run the app locally to test and refine it. An LLM API key is required, and the template can then be customized to deliver value for a team. More information is available at slack.dev.
