[00:00:00] Speaker 1: In this video, you're going to learn how to create felt style AI animations with CDALS 2.0 just like this. So to create our felt style AI animation, we're going to be using 11creative inside of 11labs and here we want to go ahead and select image and video. Here we can find all of the best AI image and video models in the world, including the brand new CDALS. So if we just click on video right here, we're going to click on the model selector at the bottom and we're just going to select CDALS. Here we can now type in any prompt or reference that we want to create videos with CDALS 2.0. So I'm going to go ahead and paste our prompt and let's break it down. First of all for the aesthetic, we've chosen a felt stop motion and this gives us the overall style and aesthetic. The next thing is the storyline and here we've got a storyline about the four Artemis 2 astronauts launching, orbiting the moon and returning home. That's the entire story of the animation. Next we then want to point out the specific characters and here you'll notice that within the characters we're also including the style of the characters. So to really achieve the felt animation style, we've also included that the figures are hand stitched in white suits right. Next we've got the environment and this time we're describing each location but also again including the style and aesthetic for each of the sections. If we were to just include a felt stop motion animation at the top in the aesthetic, it would sometimes miss these important details to make sure every important element within the video is the same style. After that down here we've got the action sequence and this is where the magic happens. Here you want to give as much detail in terms of what happens in the prompt. So obviously we've got they wave, we've got launch in cotton flame and stitched smoke. So again we're describing the style of the action that we're seeing on screen or the visual aesthetic and then we're describing each and every action after that while also occasionally including the style. For example, splash down in a felt ocean as recovery teams welcome them. Now for the action sequence, previously with most AI video models you always want to give as much information as possible but SeaLars 2.0 has a lot of creative latitude allowing you to give minimal information and it will then go and figure out the rest for you giving some really impressive results. And then the last two sections we have in the prompt we've got the production brief and this is essentially notes as to what we want to see and how the overall video should be crafted and produced. And then finally we always include a negative prompt down here saying that we don't want text, we don't want any dialogue or voiceover because we're going to add this all afterwards with 11 laps. In the settings I just want to make sure I go ahead and select 15 seconds so it matches our prompt right here and then I want to generate with audio and we're going to generate two different examples and I'm going to turn off AI rewriting the prompt and then I simply click generate. Now as you can see we've got two generations of our story in the felt animation style and the best part is that I could then click on this and we can preview it with the audio and I can go ahead and open this up in studio and doing so will allow me to have full control over the background music and also the voiceover. So here in studio I can now go to speech and I can simply type out a script that I have for this story and then all I want to do is go and select 11v3 and here we're going to change the voice. So let's say I wanted a narrator style voice well I could go and use this David American narrator and then I could click play and we'll see how this sounds.

[00:03:31] Speaker 2: For explorers a quarter million miles of open sky they touched the edge of somewhere ancient and brought the feeling home.

[00:03:42] Speaker 1: That's brilliant the one thing I would change though is that I would delay this last part ever so slightly so I place my playhead and split it and now I can move this back to the part where they fly home so the script is synced up with the animation a little bit more and now let's press play and brought the feeling home. Excellent and that is how to create felt style AI animations using SeaLance 2.0. For the prompt you can find it in the description down below and if you have any questions drop them in the comments and if you enjoyed this video and you want to see more please hit that like button and don't forget to subscribe. Arow Summary
The speaker explains how to create a felt-style stop-motion AI animation using the CDALS 2.0 video model inside 11Labs’ creative suite. They select the video model, paste a structured prompt, and describe why the prompt is organized into sections: aesthetic, storyline (Artemis 2 launch/orbit/return), characters (hand-stitched figures in white suits), environments (each location described with felt/craft styling), action sequence (detailed, with visual materials like cotton flame and stitched smoke), production brief, and a negative prompt (no text or dialogue/voiceover). They set the duration to 15 seconds, generate two variations with audio, preview the results, then open the clip in 11Labs Studio to add a narrated voiceover using an 11v3 voice (e.g., David American narrator). Finally, they fine-tune timing by splitting and shifting the narration to sync with the animation.

Arow Key Takeaways
  • Use 11Labs’ Image & Video area and select the CDALS model under Video.
  • Structure prompts into clear sections (aesthetic, story, characters, environments, actions, production notes, negative prompt) for consistent style.
  • Reinforce the felt/craft style throughout characters, environments, and action descriptions—not only in the opening aesthetic line.
  • CDALS 2.0 can handle minimal prompts, but detailed action sequences help control what appears on screen.
  • Set duration to match the prompt (e.g., 15 seconds) and generate multiple variations.
  • Generate with audio for quick previews, then open in Studio for full control of music and voiceover.
  • Add narration via Speech, choose a suitable 11v3 voice, and adjust timing by splitting and nudging clips to sync with visuals.
