Speaker 1: Hi there, I'm Paul and I'm Product Marketing Manager here at Speechmatics. In this video, I'm going to show you how to easily check your usage of the Speechmatics API and how to manage your billing. Firstly, you need to head over to the Track Usage section of the portal. Here you can see what your usage limits are. Right now, you'll see that you get 4 hours of transcription for free without having to incur any charges. That's split between 2 hours of standard transcription and 2 hours of enhanced transcription. We'll move on to how to add a payment method in a moment. By clicking on the Summary tab, you will see what your API usage has been like during the current month, again split between standard and enhanced accuracy to show where your requests have been made. This view also gives you a running tally of how many hours of transcription you've used and how many requests you've made, which is updated every few minutes. On the Details tab, your usage is broken down further to show your usage on a daily basis, again updated every few minutes, so we will see your usage updated almost instantly. Take a look at the API reference on the Speechmatics doc site and you will see how to get even more usage data. If you find you're getting close to the upper limits of your free usage, it's going to be wise for you to enter a payment method so you don't experience any failed API calls. To do this, head over to the Manage Billing section of the portal. From here, you can put in the details of your preferred payment card. This will mean that once you've hit the limits of your included usage, you'll be billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. Head over to the Pricing page to see the most up-to-date pricing on our On Demand tier. By clicking the Payments tab, you can see your current and previous billing costs. These are collated for the current calendar month and updated at the end of each calendar day. Any costs that you've incurred during the current month will be charged to your card on the first day of the next month. So that's how easy it is to check your usage of the Speechmatics API and manage your billing.
