Essential Platforms for Running a Successful Online Tutoring Business (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: All right, to run your tutoring business online, it's a really, really simple setup. All right, to run your tutoring business online, it's a really, really simple setup and most people over-complicate it. So deliver an amazing service for your students in a time-efficient and cost-effective way. There's really three main platforms that you need to be using to have a successful teaching business. Let me run you through what they are. So number one is of course the most obvious one and that's having a Zoom account. Okay, the reason why you need a Zoom account is because most families across the entire world, they understand how to use Zoom and you need to have platforms that your clientele, so in this case the students, are familiar with. Okay, so in terms of how you deliver your lessons, Zoom is the key one that you're going to need. Then in terms of how you facilitate learning for the students and how you can provide to them and how you can deliver to them as well and provide work, give reviews, homework, Google Classrooms. We work with over 400 teachers and most of them will use Google Classrooms. These are teachers who are working with just a handful of students. These are teachers who are working with a couple of hundred and we've also got teachers that we're working with that work with thousands of students and they all still use Google Classroom. Okay, it doesn't matter what level you are inside of your business. So that's number two. Number three, the next platform that you need is some form of learning portal that you can use almost as a course. So think Kajabi, Thinkific, Teachable, these type of platforms that allow you to then have something that over delivers to your student and not only that, you can then resell these platforms as courses. So you can create recurring membership sites. So think about it like that. You're also creating a membership site for your actual students that you're delivering to using Google Classroom. That should actually deliver the lessons you're using Zoom. Hope that helped.
