Today I want to share with you the case study of AI Machine Controller. First, I will briefly introduce the advantages of AI Machine. Compared with human visual inspection in the past, AI has a high degree of automation. Human automation and system analysis save time and increase production efficiency, even reduce factory inspection cost. Overall, the emergence of AI has benefited the production inspection quality, but there are still some problems with the AI machine. When a product is inspected, the AI machine moves the product through the conveyor belt. With the camera quickly photographing, the photo is instantly transmitted to the system for analysis and comparison, to determine the product quality. The quality of inspection must reach a certain level, and it also needs to connect a lot of additional equipment, such as a robotic arm, a camera, and a conveyor belt. So it is very important to have enough inspection slots, and both to improve performance and the speed of inspection. The Insta360 computer that meets such a request is the most popular product of AI. In this case, the customer chose the PCIe Q870-I2, which supports multiple CPUs such as the LGA 1150 Intel Core i7-i5-i3, M.2 Pentium, and Celeron CPU-per-Intel Q87. According to the different needs, chose the right CPU. With four 214-pin, 1600, and 1333MHz dual-channel DDR3 DIMMs, it is up to 32GB of memory. Provide enough temporary storage to avoid system data processing delay issues. Four PCIe mini devices and M.SATA through the PCIe mini slots allow customers to have more flexible inspection options. In addition to this product, AI also has SPCIe-C246 and PCIe-Q370, two models to choose from. Customer also chose the PXE-9S2, which has 9-slot PICMG 1.3 backplane that offer more inspection options, including 4 PCIe x16 slot, 1 x16 slot, 3 x4 slot, and 4 PCIe. In this case, the customer connect three IP cameras through the PCIe slot, and each PCIe transmit independent bandwidth, which greatly stabilize the single transmission rate and improve system processing efficiency. In addition to this product, there are SPXE-14S and SPXE-11S that support high inspection. AI also provides a chassis for use with the above-mentioned bolts and 4U 14-slot 4-size rack-mount chassis, and there are 14 slots for customers to make more inspection options.
