+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hi, this is Louisa Chan and in this video I'll show you what it looks like to view LinkedIn using another language. I'm logging in here using my friend's account and this account has chosen Chinese or Mandarin as the language to view LinkedIn in. So you will notice these Chinese characters. These are the inputs from LinkedIn. You can even see Ling Ying which is the Chinese name for LinkedIn. Here you will see LinkedIn's input in Chinese. If you scroll down, these things are in Chinese. The headings, the subheadings, the headlines, they are in Chinese. However, you will still see English words because this is the language chosen for the primary profile of the person you are viewing. If English was the language chosen for the primary profile, you will see input here in English. But if this person also has a profile in a secondary LinkedIn language, you will see it in this drop-down list here. You will not see this if this person does not have a secondary profile. So here you see a drop-down list. Click on it. This is to say that you can look at the profile in another language. The language that is chosen now is English. So you can just tick Chinese. Say Chinese is the language for the secondary profile. And now you will see input from this person in Chinese as well. So if you scroll down, not only the headlines and subheads are in Chinese, but the profile is also in Chinese. No, I don't need any translation. Can you see that? These are the input from LinkedIn. But these are the input from the person. So where do you change the language for viewing LinkedIn? You can scroll down and you will see two lines here. So since I'm using Chinese, it says here Yu Yuan. In the English, you will see here language. So you can choose out of these. Maybe you want to view it in another language. Say if I want to view this in French, but this person does not have a French profile set up. That's fine. You will not be able to see French in the profile. So these words are in French. The LinkedIn's input is in French. But here it will still be Chinese. It will not change. This person does not have her profile written in French. So you can either view it in Chinese or English. And basically that's it. Just not to be confused by the two things. One is the language you choose to view LinkedIn in. And the other is the language used to set up the profile. So that's it for this video. If you find it helpful, give it a like, share it and leave me a comment.
