Speaker 1: Hi everyone, this is Emily from VoiceX Communications. Today I'm just doing a short video going through the Philips SpeechLive speech-to-text component. It's a really, really handy feature that both authors and typists can use and not many people are aware of it. So just wanting to run through some of the basics. If there are any further questions, please get in touch with us. We can organise for another demonstration or some training or just some more information for you. So please follow along and any questions, I'll leave all of the contact details in the description below. Okay, so I'm logged in as myself as a typist on SpeechLive at the moment and I've got two dictations here. I'm just wanting to send this top one to the speech-to-text service. So I'm just going to click on it and highlight it. And then by going up to the top menu here, I'm just going to press on the little speech bubble icon that says send to speech-to-text and send it off. It's really, really fast so depending on the length of the dictation, just give it maybe 10 to 15 seconds. And to check if it's been transcribed, you can just press this refresh button up the top here. So we can see that that's changed the status from transcription pending to transcription finished and there's also a little icon of a paperclip next to the name of the dictation indicating that it's been transcribed. Then to download the transcribed document, we're going to go up to the menu again and press the download button and down to download transcript. And that will just start downloading the transcript as a Microsoft Word document, which you can open up when it's done. And we can see here this is a test dictation by Emily Moore on the 19th of August 2022 for the Philips SpeechLive speech-to-text demonstration video, which is great. That's 100% accuracy, which is awesome and it was very fast. Then what you can do if you would like to make any changes or edits is just listen to the audio in the player as you normally would and you can just read back through the document that's been transcribed and make any changes. Each Philips SpeechLive account includes 20 minutes of speech-to-text per user per month for free. The minutes don't accumulate. They start fresh every month. So if you think you'll need more than 20 minutes, just get in touch with us. You can add on a speech-to-text package and we can quote you on that. And other than that, thank you for watching my video. I hope you found it helpful, and I'll be creating a separate video to show authors how they can use speech-to-text as well.
