The first one on the list is ClickUp. ClickUp is an all-in-one solution for tasks, documents, goals and chat. It's a customisable solution and offers the functionalities for process management, task management, time management etc. A wide range of platforms is supported by iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, etc. ClickUp offers complete customisation with simple statuses, custom notifications, tags, colour themes etc. With ClickUp you can switch between multiple views including mind maps, boards, Gantt charts, calendars and list views. ClickUp's Agile features are its unique selling point. Agile features include an Agile optimised dashboard and sprint widgets. However there are some cons to using ClickUp. Steep learning curve due to the number of available features and level of customisability, glitchy app on Android and lax project management board. And for the pricing, ClickUp's free plan allows unlimited users and tasks but limits the storage to 100 megabytes. To access more advanced features and storage space consider one of its premium plans. They're available from $5 per user per month billed yearly. ClickUp is best for team collaboration through built-in tools. Another great choice if you're looking for an alternative to Jira is monday.com, a project management software that offers a variety of features such as task management, dependency tracking and several app integrations such as Slack, Asana, HubSpot, CRM as well as Jira. Monday.com offers native social media management and free educational webinars for all subscribers while Jira is geared more towards software developers. Monday.com has an intuitive interface with animations, pop-up text and colour schemes which can be more inviting to use than Jira's sometimes confusing navigation. Additional noteworthy features of monday.com include boards and columns, task automation, checklists, app integration and numerous options for views like file view, Kanban view, form view and chart view. Both monday.com and Jira present to their users excellent privacy and security features such as data encryption in transit and at rest. Monday.com curates packages for different teams and business sizes with specific features. For example marketing teams can launch and track Google Ads campaigns directly from monday.com. This Jira alternative lets users brainstorm ideas in a collaborative document with a drag-and- drop interface without leaving the app. Also it allows you to create custom dashboards to track tasks, progress and budgets at a glance. However there are some cons to using Monday. Users report issues with the mobile app, integrations are limited, users would prefer better API integration. Monday.com's free version accommodates two users while it's basic and standard plans are priced at $8 and $10 per user per month respectively billed annually. There's also a free trial that allows you to try monday.com risk-free. Next we have Asana. Asana is a project management software that helps teams track their work and progress on various projects. With Asana you can create to-do lists, assign tasks to team members, set deadlines and add files or notes all in one place. Asana's project management features easily integrate with collaboration, charting and reporting. It comes with numerous project templates designed for a diverse range of team types and projects, plus handy project status reports, lots of project views and integrations with top work software like Slack, Zoom, GitHub and more. These integrations make it easier to collaborate and keep all communication and work in one place. But Asana does have some disadvantages. Users say it lacks any way to track time, its assignment feature is also limited to just one user assigned to one task at a time which can be frustrating. However Asana scores top points for its impressive free plan. If you have a small team the free version includes many features you will need such as automation, unlimited tasks, projects, messages, activity logs and file storage. Paid plans start at $10.99 per user per month billed annually with a free trial available, no credit card needed. Next we have Trello. If your team is looking for an alternative to Jira and mostly uses its Kanban board view, Trello may be the solution you've been looking for. Trello is a project management software that utilizes Kanban boards, lists and cards as its Cree ingredients to give you a flexible overview of projects and tasks. Trello is an intuitive tool, its no code automation features help you optimize the time spent on repetitive tasks. Additionally Trello allows you to invite new members to collaborate in your workspace, track tasks and use color coded labels for organization. One of the advantages of Trello versus Jira is the fact that Trello can be used in the freemium model. Both solutions are built by Atlassian so integrations and migration shouldn't be an issue. One thing to keep in mind is that Trello doesn't offer time tracking, project and issue tracking and only has 30 integration partners while Jira offers about a hundred. Trello has a free version plan and its paid plans start at five dollars per user per month billed yearly. So as you can see Jira isn't the only great app out there, there are plenty of others even beyond what we've listed here today. Some have features similar to Jira's, others have a completely different set of features and functions.
