[00:00:02] Speaker 1: The Analytics dashboard turns meeting data into insights, conversation metrics, topic tracking, and team-wide patterns. Click Analytics in the left sidebar. You'll see two tabs. Team Insights shows conversation metrics, time spent, talk time, sentiment. Topics Insights shows keyword tracking. What you see depends on your role. Admins see aggregated data across teammates accessible meetings. Non-admins see only their own. Admin, all teammates accessible meetings. Non-admin, only your own meetings. Speaker level metrics also need accurate speaker labels. If transcripts show speaker one instead of names, talk time and sentiment won't attribute correctly. We'll fix that at the end. Team Insights surfaces five key metrics. Conversations, total meetings. Time spent, total hours, useful for meeting load. Talk time, percentage each speaker contributes, critical for sales coaching. Sentiment, positive, negative, or neutral. Monologue detection, flags extended periods without interruption. Talk time and sentiment work only for English. Other languages show conversation counts and time spent, but not speaker level data. Sales managers track talk time ratios. If reps talk 80% of the call, they're not listening. Team leads monitor meeting load. 30 hours a week means someone isn't getting deep work done. Admins look at workspace trends. Are meetings increasing? Is sentiment trending negative? Recruiters review interview talk time. Candidates should talk more than interviewers. Filters focus on specific subsets. Filter by title, organizer, participant, duration, or meeting type. Internal versus external. Combine filters with and or or. Title contains demo and type is external, matches only external demos. Adjust the date range at the top. Last seven days, 14 days, 30 days, or set a custom range for quarterly reviews. Save useful filter combinations as views. Click save view, name it. External sales calls. Q1 customer meetings. Apply saved views anytime from the dropdown. Topics Insights shows which keywords appear across your meetings. It connects to Topic Tracker, which we'll set up next. For each topic, you see three things. Keywords, conversations, meetings that mention them, and mentions, total count. Click any topic to drill down. You'll see which meetings contained the keywords and can jump to relevant moments in each transcript. Topics Insights supports the same filters as Team Insights. It shows data from when you started tracking each topic, not retroactively. Set it up early. Topic Tracker lets you define keywords Firefly's monitors across meetings. Click more in the sidebar, then Topic Tracker. Available on Pro Plans and above. Click add topic. Enter a name like competitor mentions or pricing objections, then add keywords. For competitor tracking, add competitor, alternative, compared to, and specific names. Admin CN, enable for teammates, toggle. Turn it on to make the topic workspace-wide. The Topic Tracker page has three tabs. My Topics, Workspace Topics, and Teammate Topics. Click export at the top. Choose CSV for raw data or XLSX for Excel. The export includes all data matching your current filters and date range. Use exports for monthly reports, quarterly reviews, or compliance documentation. For ongoing automated tracking, connect the Google Sheets integration. Data flows automatically to a spreadsheet you control. Analytics respect privacy settings. If a teammate sets meetings to only owner, those won't appear, even as admin. For complete visibility, set privacy defaults to teammates or broader before rollout. Enterprise exception. Super Admin bypasses privacy and sees all meetings. Finally, fix speaker name matching. If transcripts show speaker one, click into the meeting and edit speaker labels. Accurate labels mean accurate attribution. Use Team Insights for conversation metrics, Topics Insights for keyword tracking, filters and views to slice data, and exports for reporting. Start with two or three topics that matter and watch patterns emerge. You've now got the full admin foundation. Your workspace defaults are set, your team is organized, and your automation is in place. So Fireflies can capture the right meetings, route them to the right place, and share them with the right people automatically. As you roll this out, remember, start with clear defaults, use groups and channels to keep things organized, and lean on rules to scale without creating extra admin work. Review your setup quarterly, users, groups, integrations, skills, and rules, so your workspace stays secure, consistent, and easy for teams to adopt. Thanks for taking the time to set this up the right way. You're ready to run Fireflies confidently across the organization.

Arow Summary
Overview of Fireflies’ Analytics dashboard and Topic Tracker: Team Insights provides meeting counts, time spent, talk time, sentiment, and monologue detection (with role-based visibility and English-only speaker metrics). Topics Insights tracks keyword topics via Topic Tracker, supports filtering, drill-down to meetings and transcript moments, and only counts from when tracking starts. Users can filter by meeting metadata, set date ranges, save views, export CSV/XLSX, or automate reporting via Google Sheets. Privacy settings limit what appears (Super Admin exception on Enterprise). Accurate speaker labels are required for correct attribution. Best practices include starting with a few high-value topics, setting clear defaults, using groups/channels and rules to scale, and reviewing the setup quarterly.

Arow Key Takeaways
  • Team Insights shows five core metrics; talk time and sentiment require English and correct speaker labels.
  • Role affects visibility: admins see aggregated accessible meetings; non-admins see only their own.
  • Use filters (title, organizer, participants, duration, internal/external) and date ranges; save common combinations as views.
  • Topics Insights depends on Topic Tracker and is not retroactive—set up topics early.
  • Topic Tracker (Pro+) supports personal/workspace/teammate topics, workspace-wide toggles for admins, and exports (CSV/XLSX).
  • Automate ongoing reporting with Google Sheets integration; exports respect current filters and date range.
  • Analytics respect meeting privacy settings; Enterprise Super Admin can bypass privacy.
  • Best practice: start with 2–3 key topics, monitor patterns, and review workspace settings quarterly.
