Fireflies Expands AskFred With Custom MCP Connectors (Full Transcript)

I'm Pedro Hernandez, the community manager, and I'm here with Chen from Product that leads all the integrations and connections with Ask Fred.

Like Pedro said, I'm Chen, so I would be your go-to person for anything related to integrations, Ask Fred, voice agents, email assistant, whatever, in Fireflies. Super excited to show you what we've shipped with respect to MCP connectors for Ask Fred, but yeah, let's get right into it. Over to you, Pedro.

[00:03:48] Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. So in one sentence for today, Fireflies already sits in every meeting you take, and a few weeks ago, you can now make it talk with the rest, with the tools you're working. So your project tracker, as we see here, JIRA, your docs or CRM, you can bring all then yourself. Takes about a minute. We're gonna show that how. And as I mentioned, while we go through, keep sharing the tools you wanna get connected and all your questions in the chat. But quick ground before I get in, 20 million people now use Fireflies, a meeting organization trusted, including three partners on Fortune 500. There's been the AI systems for the meeting itself for a long time, and now it prepares you, takes a note, now draft the follow-ups, and what changed is what Fireflies can reach. It sits on the meeting and now takes all care of the rest after the meeting. So here's the whole shape of everything that Fireflies can now handle. We started as meeting notes, but it helps now you take care of all the rest of your work. So the notes is searched across everything you have set. So you complete company knowledge base, draft the mail, as Chen mentioned, voice agents can take calls for yourself, connects to Slack, Live Assist, it helps you throughout the meeting. So if you download your desktop app, you can ask live questions for Fireflies. So you don't have to say things like, hold up, I will follow up with that after the call. You can build all your knowledge base and use it live. And what are you going to do today? It is take the platforms that you run, build automations with that, and turn Fireflies in a place you can visit and turn into a teammate that knows and does everything. So two things you'll be able to do by the time we close the session. One, you're going to connect to your team already used to Fireflies in about a minute. You're going to ask one question to Fred to get a full answer that pulls from that meeting and from that too at the same time. And then three, we're going to act on that. So after you have all the context, you can ask Fred to handle your ticket, to push that to a document, or create something completely different as you're going to show maybe with Canva or any other tool that use your CRM. So after the session, you're going to connect, you're going to use Fred and then ask him to take care of something for you. And for that, be sure to have it, the link that I'm dropping here in the chat so you can follow along as we're going to go through that. But before we start with the demos, if you have any questions, be sure to drop here in the Q&A, is the question mark icon at the bottom in the middle. So we're going to cover all your questions. No need to wait for the end. You can drop all your questions while we present. We're going to try to take the most of it. But now on how it works, I will pass on to Chen to give the summary, the description and show it live for us. Chen, you can take the stage.

[00:07:44] Speaker 2: Absolutely. Thank you so much, Pedro. So as most of you know, we've always had an MCP server as in you can use the Fireplace MCP server in any MCP client to get information about your meeting. So that has existed for quite some time now for the past few years. But we also wanted to change the narrative. So Fireplace is not just your data source, but it's actually an AI assistant, your AI team mate that can get stuff done for you. On that aspect, Fireplace, I'm very happy to say that Fireplace is one of the very few tools that has both an MCP client and an MCP server. So you can use your MCP server in any other client that you might want. And also you can use all your MCP servers, all your other AI tools and AI apps into Fireflies in AskRed itself. So we brought in the capability. So there's no context switching. There's no tab switching. You get all your context available as part of Fireflies. So that is pretty much what Pedro is trying to say here. Pedro, we can just move to the next slide. Yeah, so we support every single tool that supports an MCP server. So that is the possibility of what we are about to show right now. And it's not like you can only connect to tools that we've listed. So we've added an option which I'm about to show you shortly is the option to connect to custom MCP servers. So the opportunities are pretty much limitless. So I'm gonna show you how to do that. Just open AskRed, open connectors, just add the MCP server URL, and you're pretty much sorted. I'm gonna show this for a couple of tools so that you can get an idea. Bring all your tools into Fireflies. Start using Fireflies as your MCP client and see how the difference is in making your productivity to the next level. So without further ado, let's get right away into the demo. Let me quickly share my screen. Thank you, Pedro. There we go. So this is your AskRed interface. So just so you might know, we have AskRed on the left nav here. You can find it as part of this icon. So we've also introduced a shortcut. So I'm just gonna give you some quick tips along the way rather than just keeping this straightforward demo. So you can also use Command J in Mac or Control K in Windows to open AskRed. A quick tip for you so that you are super fast in getting to AskRed. So you can either do that or simply use AskRed from here. And also I'm gonna show you a couple of other tips and tricks. You can also change the layout of AskRed view from the right pane to bringing it just in front of you over here on the bottom nav. So that's also something that you can do, but now I'm just gonna go into AskRed dedicated page where I'm gonna show you how the Connector Flow actually works. So you can see that we've introduced a nice user education animation about the recent feature launch about the custom connectors. So either you can just click Add or simply just click the plus icon and you can see connectors here and just go to Manage Connectors and you'll see the list of stores. You can see the stores where you'll have a list of integrations that are supported for connectors. So one thing that you need to keep in mind is that you know that Firefly has integrations, right? So integrations are different from connectors that you see over here. So integrations are for sending notes while connectors are more agentic towards performing agentic operations. So with that being said, let me show you how to connect a custom connector. So we'll also be adding a lot of out-of-the-box connectors as you might see over here, but if you wanna add a custom connector, just click this icon that says Custom Connector and you'll see these options where you can add the name, the server URL, the authentication type. So we support both API key-based and OAuth-based authentication. So whatever OAuth mode your MCP server supports, it might be an internal tool that does not support OAuth and if it only has API, you'll be able to just select API key and just enter the API key and connect to your internal MCP server. But most tools right now, the industry standard is to support OAuth and that is what we have as default here. So for this example, let me show you how to connect Canva. So Canva is a very popular graphic designing tool that all of you might have known. It's super easy to create designs. It makes anybody without any visual knowledge or someone without any design knowledge to go and create some amazing designs whatsoever. So Canva has an MCP server. So for those of you who are new to MCP, you can just search if you are MCP. The tools that you commonly use have an MCP server and even if they're not, I wouldn't recommend this, but they also have certain third-party servers from other developers, but just see if they have an official MCP server from their official website, which I'm gonna show you now. So I have the developer documentation of Canva here. From here, I'm just going to search for the MCP URL and I can find it here. So we can see that Canva has their MCP URL. So this is pretty much going to be the format of the MCP URL. It's going to be mcp.productname.mcp whatsoever. So I'm just gonna copy this from the Canva documentation. Just come here. I'm just gonna give it a name here that says Canva. I'm gonna add a server URL and that's pretty much it. So I'm just gonna click save and connect and it immediately opens up the authentication for Canva. So here I am gonna give Fireflies all the permissions that I need from Canva. And the moment I review all the permissions from Canva, I click allow, you'll be redirected back to Fireflies once the permissions are provided. So authorization is now successful. So that's pretty much it. You are successfully connected and you can see that Canva is now available as part of your custom connector. So how do I use it now? So open any chat, one that you want. You've already had a conversation with Ask Fred or if you want to open a new chat, feel free to do so and just start typing right away. And here I'm also going to showcase another tip. We've also introduced voice dictation. Rather than typing it, you can also dictate whatever you want to Ask Fred and you'll be able to get that into text as well. So here, I'm just gonna go ahead and just type, create a step-by-step flowchart in Canva about creating, sorry, about making a hamburger and you can see that Fireflies will now talk to Canva as a tool, as part of its MCP portfolio and it will create the documentation or the diagram or the flowchart, the entire graphic itself from Fireflies itself. So imagine this, while it does, let me explain this to you. So I am giving you a very basic use case here. So imagine you have around five to seven or even 10 MCP tools that you commonly use connected within Fireflies. You can use it as a combination. For example, you can say, go check my Fireflies meeting, fetch the products spec from that meeting. Now, filter that product spec using a different tool and once you filter that, use it to create another diagram from a different tool. So you can cascade different tools in getting things done. That is the beauty of MCP where one single tool, once you connect all the other tools to it, it just works seamlessly within other tools so that it is super seamless and you get your work done right away without shifting tasks. So you can see that it works beautifully. So it's created multiple designs for me to review. Let me just open one of it. That's pretty awesome. So you can see that this is created through Canva and you can see that result through Fireflies once you connect the MCP. Let me also take the other options. You can see it's given me multiple options. You can also go ahead and have a conversation with your Canva tool right from Fireflies aspect itself if you want to make any modifications whatsoever. But as you can see, it's made a really beautiful diagram and I'm just going to use this one. If actually I needed a diagram about, you know, how to make a hamburger, but it's pretty much the context. So this is how you create MCP tools, connect MCP tools and create whatever you want. Basically it can be diagrams in Canva, it can be documents in Notion or even sign a document using Judo or DocuSign or whatever, which tool supports. MCP is something that we already support here as a custom connector here at Fireflies. So for the sake of another example, I'm going to connect to another tool called Shortcut. So let me show you how to do that as well. So here Shortcut is nothing but a tool where you can use it to track all the tasks that you are performing. It's basically a task management platform. So just search for the MCP URL. Sometimes it's pretty hidden. So all that you need to do is just take a look, find it out. Shortcut MCP server, there you go. So there are some tools that have their MCP server URL hidden as part of the documentation. As you can see from Shortcut, it's available when you dig it a little bit. So, but it's not that difficult. Just once you just do a basic level searching you'll be able to find the MCP URL. So I'm going to go back to Ask Thread and I am going to add Shortcut as one of the connectors as well. I'm just going to click Manage Connector, click Custom Connector, add it as, you can give it any name. I'm just giving the actual name for the connector. For example, I can just add it as, you know, Chance Shortcut Connection. There you go. Now it takes me to Shortcut to authenticate. The moment I authenticate, it pretty much is connected with Fireflies. So that's how you connect Fireflies and other tools. So I'm just going to give a low access here. Make sure you read through all the permissions that Fireflies is about to be getting and ensure that you always accept it

[00:17:54] Speaker 1: after reading it through as a security best practice.

[00:17:56] Speaker 2: So what I'm going to do here is, I'm just going to start a new thread. I'm going to say that I am planning to work on a document called AskThreadConnectors create a Shortcut story for me. So now Fireflies will talk to Shortcut to get that done for me. So just watch that happen. And it also not only just does that, it also gives the link so that I can get what Fireflies has created in Shortcut as well. So once this result comes up, I'm also going to show you something super exciting. Something that we've shipped. It's not part of the webinar actually. So you can see that it's created a beautiful Shortcut story for me with whatever information that it already has. It's created as a chore, which is beautiful. It's also given it a description and here's the link to the Shortcut story. And the moment I click it here, I'm able to see the Shortcut story right away from here. There you go. Work on AskThreadConnectors document. So that folks is AskThreadMCPConnectors in a nutshell. I'm also going to show you something else, which is now you can share your AskThread outputs as documents. So we've just shipped this feature last week. It's absolutely beautiful. I'm super excited to show you guys. So for example, let me just take this response. You see the small share icon here, just click that and Firefly will automatically generate a public link that you can share the response with any response that you might create, not the entire chat. You can just create a report that you want to share with your boss or you want to create a draft email that you want to share with your colleagues, can be anything. Any response that you might create with AskThread is now shareable as a public link to the entire World Wide Web. So just copy the link. This is something that can be viewed by both Firefly's users and non-Firefly's users as well. We don't require them to sign up at all. They can view it with just opening the link. Let me open this in incognito and give you an idea on what this document would look like. Let me just share my entire screen. There you go. So here you go, I'm just pasting the document. So this is how it looks like. So it's a very beautiful document. So here you have who shared it. We also have the date when it was shared. We have the title. We also have branding elements like Firefly's. We also have a nice watermark that says made by fireflies.ai. So you can share this link. So let's say you wanted a different version of your meeting notes. You can just go into AskThread, modify the notes according to your wish or just edit out certain pieces of it and just have it sent across. Or you want it to turn it out, for example, it's your PM and you just discussed a specific product spec with one of your colleagues and you want it to turn AskThread into a document and you'll be able to do that by just clicking the share icon and sharing it across to whoever you want. So this is a brand new feature. Please feel free to try it out and share your feedback. We are bringing in more controls on top of this. Be it a Firefly's user or non-Firefly's user, we want to bring in password protection. We want to bring in access controls. We also want to bring in chat options. Anybody can chat with this specific response with whatever is available in front of them as information. So that's coming real soon, but this is shareable AskThread responses for you folks. So that is Firefly's MCP nutshell. So feel free to go try out Firefly's custom connectors, bring in all your tools, play around with them, and let us know what you think on how it takes your product to be to the next level. I haven't taken any questions, so that's all I had to go.

[00:22:05] Speaker 1: Thanks again, Chen. And just, so we're getting some similar questions here, but something that we got before, it is the difference for Firefly's, what is then an integration and a custom connector? I imagine people that already have HubSpot integrated, Notion integrated, and data forum meetings already getting pushed to those tools, but what now custom connectors does that's different?

[00:22:39] Speaker 2: Got it. So the way that I want, I'd love for you folks to visualize is that connectors are different and integrations are different. So integrations are connected only to send nodes to those integrations. For example, let's say you connect Notion to Firefly's, the job of the integration is just to get the nodes sent across from Firefly's to Notion right after a meeting ends. So that's where the scope ends. But when you connect Notion to Firefly's as a connector, so that's when you'd be able to do agentic stuff, like going through Ask Fred and being able to manipulate stuff, like create a document for me in Notion, go through my Notion documents and refer to this meeting and give me more information. So you'd be able to do more agentic stuff using connectors. So that happens through MCP. So integrations is just a basic authentication. It's OAuth, it's just here to send nodes, get nodes for you whatsoever, pull in information, but connectors are basically centered around Ask Fred where you'd be able to do more agentic stuff. So that's the difference. So don't confuse those two things. So integrations are different to just get your nodes, connectors are different to get information about those connectors. You'd be able to connect Firefly's as an MCP server, also use other tools into Firefly's as an MCP client. So that is what is possible with integrations and connectors. I also see another question from Jennifer. What you just described, Jennifer, I'm just gonna reiterate the entire question again for the audience, which is, I've already connected Firefly's as a server to Claude, so what difference does it make if I connect it to Ask Fred? So this is nothing but another carbon copy of what Claude provides. For example, rather than using Claude, you can simply use Firefly's as a single tool to get all your tools available in Firefly's and start using it. So you don't have to pay for another tool like Claude and simply use Firefly's as your single tool whatsoever. So it's just about ease of access. So for example, even ChatGPT has custom connectors. A lot of tools that are LLMs has custom connectors. So we are betting huge in Ask Fred and its capabilities to be more agentic as a personal assistant, which is why we bring in this capability. So it is on par with ChatGPT, Claude, whatsoever. So feel free to try it out and let us know what your thoughts are.

[00:24:50] Speaker 1: Yeah, that was actually a great question, Jennifer. And the thing that we always push that you can simplify all your stack. We see lots of lots of cases, especially on social media, that people, oh, I connected Firefly's to Claude, then Claude sent you another tool for marketing that creates a briefing that then creates a post to Canva. So like it is four tools and you can have all within Firefly's. Like it is just as Chen show, like based on this meeting creates a post in Canva and that's it. There's no like, oh, here to here to another place. We can have a single stack and do all within Firefly's. So making your life easier and cheaper as well because you don't need tons of tools to do the same thing. And before we get further in to the questions, I just wanna make sure to highlight more about Firefly's which another reason, one of the biggest reasons to have everything within Firefly's because it is privacy-first by default, enterprise-grade security, zero-day rotation across all the models we use. And what attests that it is a CyberNews-ranked Firefly's number three out of 500 AI tools for trustworthiness this year. So your organization needs a sign agreement, have private storage, data residency. You can choose where you host all your data. We have audit logs. So you can also ask anything about security because we know that when you connect other tools, you wanna be sure that that data is not being used to train any AI model. And Firefly's don't use any to train our models. Your data is yours only. And if you're choosing to reach out to another tools, be sure to check that because other tools are using your private data to train their model. So be sure that you have everything private and stored within Firefly's. Again, not needing multiple tools and all your private data passing on to multiple tools. So that helps with your company security. And with that, let's start with Q&A. And if at any time you wish for us to go back to showcase how it works, if you miss it, any part of it, if you wanna check if your tool that you wanna integrate lives within Firefly's, let us know in the chat. But let me check that. And Juliana has a question here. So, and she's asking, if NotConnectChatDBT with Canva does the same thing? Yes, but that's what I just mentioned, Juliana. Why making another bridge? So if you have Firefly's connected, you don't need to send that to DBT. And then from DBT to ask, to create something in Canva, you can just ask it right from the meeting. You open your meeting and say, hey, our client asked this, create now a template address in Canva directly with Fred. And Chan, can you take this one? So Alex is asking, which LLM does S-PRED utilize? And if you wanna showcase all the possibilities as well.

[00:28:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can able to, you would be able to change it yourself. So let me just show you. So yeah, so we can change between your SONET office from Claude and also we have GPD 5.6 Luna, Astra and Sol. So, but we would recommend just putting it on auto. So let Firefly's decide which is the best tool for you. Yeah, so you have flexibility to choose the model or let Firefly's do a model picking for you whatsoever. I also saw another call, sorry, question earlier that it said, if it can talk in different languages, of course it can talk, but the recommended language that we have as part of the interface is English, but of course it can continue conversations in any language whatsoever. And I also see a question from Jennifer, yes. See Jennifer, yes, I mean, like you said that it is redundant, I get your feedback truly. So even Claude has the same thing and ChatGPT has the same thing. So both are redundant to each other. So what would you say to that? So that's pretty much what we're trying to say, right? So Firefly's is now, we wanna push in Firefly's at the level of Claude and ChatGPT as well. So it's another tool that supports all the capabilities of what Claude and ChatGPT does. For people who are invested in Firefly's and not other users of Claude and ChatGPT, there's gonna be a massive help whatsoever to be a single source of place where, for example, if they wanna just connect their meetings to other tools, Firefly's is the go-to place. But imagine you're connecting Claude where Claude has to connect to Firefly's and then connect to a different tool, which is like three different hub. But essentially Firefly's is similar to Claude and ChatGPT. Yes, Claude and ChatGPT itself are redundant to each other. Now, Firefly's is also on the level of Claude and ChatGPT. It is bringing in all the capabilities of what it can do. But yeah, this is mainly for people who want Firefly's as a centralized tool to perform actions on other tools and use it as a single source of productivity machine.

[00:30:49] Speaker 1: And Jen, if you leave the screen there, I will also address this one. So one of the ways to save credits, Sofia, is choosing the model that you are asking things. So you can either leave on auto, then Firefly's will choose the best model for your prompts. And then, of course, we'll try to save the most credit based on what you need. But thinking of that, we also launched and posted in the community the Ask Fred prompt playbook. You can check here in the chat. So one of the biggest reasons to spending more credits, it is just broad questions, broad prompts. So if you work just a little bit on writing better prompts, you can save more credits with that. And then Eunice is also asking here if AR credits limits Ask Fred. And it's not that you have a limit. You can also always go to your settings, subscriptions, and enable the auto upgrade of credits. So when you run out of credits based on the plan that you choose, if you're using, it won't use and enable the auto upgrade, Fred won't be blocked. So, but yes, Fred use credits in Ask Fred when pushing out the things. The only place that Fred don't use credits, it is on the notepad. So when you open a meeting, a meeting summary, a meeting transcript, and you ask Fred in the notepad, that still doesn't consume any credits. But do check our prompt playbook and it can help you write better prompts and save credits as well. And Chen also, how does it works with calendars? And if you can tease a little bit what Firefly is thinking also about managing calendars, let us know.

[00:32:59] Speaker 2: Sure, sure, sure, sure. I think two things here. So one, the question for this customer is they wanted to explore further into the Google Calendar MCPs and get information. Sure, I will get back to you offline. I'm not sure if Google has an official MCP server, but if even a third party servers are available for the calendars, I'll be able to let you know I am. But right now I have little information if there is an MCP server for us to fix that information for you, but I will get back to you through Pedro or the community and check if there's an official MCP server available for you. And the other aspect of it is, yeah, we might be looking into a scheduler from Fireflies. So we still haven't opened early access to it. So that's a product that is really coming soon. We are bringing in more agent capabilities into FRED. For example, like the person said, when you connect your calendar to FRED, FRED will be able to manage your calendar book calls whatsoever, get information for your calendar, basically be your executive assistant. So everybody would have their very own executive assistant, which is FRED. So that is a feature or a product itself is shipping real soon. So stay tuned for that. That is something that I can, that's pretty much what I'm, what I can talk about at this point of time, but yeah, stay tuned on that, but it's coming real soon.

[00:34:27] Speaker 1: Thanks for sharing, Chen. And I think this is one of the most common use case, right? The meeting happened, ask FRED to find document names and content to answer the questions. How this happens? And if you can just show a quick example live as well.

[00:34:46] Speaker 2: Okay, so when you say document names, I'm going to assume here that it is meeting names. So one is you can refer to the Ask Fred prompt playbook that Pedro has shared, but what I would recommend is simply just search for meetings as you might, for example, let me just show you an example. So we made FRED super intelligent to an extent where it can very well understand your natural language text. So I usually test FRED basically from a perspective where I'm just talking to a friend. For example, let's say I want to get information about, give me the TLDR of what we discussed in the last PM team chat. It would get information from me from that specific meeting right away. Yes, you can go ahead and Pedro will probably kill me, but you can just go ahead and take a look at Pedro's Ask Fred prompt playbook, where he has the specific stuff that you can ask FRED, for example, giving the meeting ID, giving the exact meeting title. But I would argue that you could just go and play around and mess with FRED to just get see if, just push FRED to its maximum and it would still do its best to give you the right possible information. So there it goes. So you can see what's happening behind the scenes here. So here you go. So you can see that the moment you say something in natural chat, it says that, okay, I found out what the PM team chat you mean. It gives you what it's doing in the backend as steps and it also gives you the final result. And this is actually the right meeting that I was looking forward to. So I just have one tip, be a little bit clear about which meeting are you referring to. You don't have contradicting names specifically. So just ensure that is something that you might follow. For example, let's say you want to look at something that says town hall, but don't ask FRED to take a look at something else that is a totally different word whatsoever. That's when the confusion happens. So try to be accurate with specifically the variables. In this case, the variables is the date, the meeting, the participants. So once you do that, I think you should be in a very good space.

[00:37:11] Speaker 1: And as we show, you can get all that and push to a notion, to a Google Doc, to whatever you have integrated now with NCB.

[00:37:20] Speaker 2: Oh, yes. Yes, absolutely.

[00:37:43] Speaker 1: I love that. I always bring that to webinars because I just love this tool. I use it specifically for listing actions that I need to do in my week. So what's planned for this week? Who should I contact? So there you go. You can create Kanbar, you can create flow charts, you can create any visualization for open tasks from a meeting, open tasks from last week, what was done. So you can easily report that. If you're on sales, you can create a chart of all your sales reps, how many meetings they had based on the calls, how many deals were closed. If you work with HR, you can do also the same for interviews. So it is just such a great asset to have, especially if you work in reporting, that I love to showcase that as well.

[00:38:48] Speaker 2: So you can see that it's actually building it in the backend. So we've made it super agentic in the sense, agentic in the sense, I mean, let's say your boss, you just go into a meeting and your boss wants a presentation from what you just discussed in that call, you can just use AskRed to get that done. So here you go. Beautiful charts. You can modify it as per you like. So beautiful charts that you might want is available right from AskRed here as a tracker whatsoever. It's just available. Go ahead and start using it. Feel free to let us know what you think about it. We wanna make it even more agentic. We wanna make it even more powerful. We wanna make it generate documents, Word documents, presentations, slides, whatsoever. The possibilities are endless. So one thing that we have as a unique advantage compared to our competitors is that we have direct access to our meetings. So this is where your entire work day lives. So when Fireflies is able to provide artifacts like this, it's gonna make your job a little bit more easier. So feel free to go try it out and let us know what you think about these reports generated and also sharing outputs, AskRed MCP connectors, OG connectors, and dictation whatsoever. [00:40:14] Speaker 1: That's specifically useful as well for those integrating tracker tools. I believe someone mentioned JIRA. So you can ask Fred to create that visualization. You review and then say, okay, based on those tasks that are open, create now that on JIRA. So you can better prepare for your week. You just start on Monday, pull up everything, review and ask it to pass on to your tracker tool. And Simone is asking also a great question. Can I import and upload notes for Fred to start? How that works, Shan?

[00:40:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, so right now it is available as part of attachments. You can store it as part of a chat, but what I'm actually working on is, that's coming real soon, probably later this week, is projects. So we want users to be able to automate their chats into projects and also all the artifacts that they've uploaded and the ones that Fred has generated into artifacts, like how you've seen it in other LLMs where it's neatly organized. Any media that you might have is part of media and projects lets you organize all your chats so that you get an idea of what you're actually working on. That is an absolute feature request. It is something that we are actively working upon. It's coming soon, but right now it's still possible. You can just open a chat and you can just upload documents for Fred to remember. And that context remains within that chat itself.

[00:41:43] Speaker 1: But Shan, if they also wanna take it further, as I mentioned with LiveAssist, how can they upload a knowledge base to Fireflies? Can you showcase that as well? So when they ask Fred, they pull up? Absolutely.

[00:42:00] Speaker 2: So LiveAssist and VoiceAgents utilize the same knowledge base. So you'll find that in settings. You see this knowledge base here. It's going to knowledge base. You'll just click create. And here you'd be able to add multiple nodes whatsoever that you might want to add. So let me add a couple of documents, sample documents. Okay, here I have, let me see. Okay, so here I have a document. So I can add multiple documents and not just document, I can also add websites here. So I can just add the website includes subpages and Fireflies will be able to scrape all subpages within that website. And I'd be able to get documents whatsoever from there. Okay, so let me just add a title, sample, T, and I can create documents. You can add multiple documents, multiple links whatsoever. And Fireflies can be, this can be referenced using LiveAssist and also VoiceAgents to reference this documentation whenever it answers calls or if you need anything. For example, if you're a sales guy and your prospect asks you probably a tricky question that you don't have answer at the top of the mind for, that's when LiveAssist comes in. And if you have it as part of the knowledge base, you can just quickly get that information from LiveAssist, it gives you the prompt and you can be able to answer that right away from there.

[00:43:29] Speaker 1: Thanks again, Chen. And Sophia is asking about when integrating tools like ClickUp and others, if use of credits. And yes, Sophia, if you missed it, we were saying that you can choose the models or that S-Thread uses when you're opening S-Thread or just leave it on auto. So then Fireflies will choose the best model to save you more credits. And if you check just three messages above your question, there's the S-Thread prompt playbook. If you wanna save even more, you can use those prompts and you can tailor to your use case. So it acted more effectively. So searching for precise what you need and then just keep improving. Most likely, most people that use Thread uses for the same questions over and over about a meeting or as I mentioned, I'm gonna start my week. Please list all the tests. So you don't have to ask twice. Oh, list all my tests, but now list those opens, list those are closed. So you improve how you work with Thread when you start using more. So we have all those saved and then you can use to also improve how credits are spent. Jonathan, no worries. They're asking, they use Granola. No worries, you're gonna soon move from Granola after checking all this. You can call them from the app, which is linked to your contacts or part of both side of conversation. Is this plan for Fireflies? Is any interrogation like that, this plan, Chen? Do you know?

See, for right now, the best way to record Fireflies, like Fireflies record your phone conversations is using first getting that meeting and then uploading it to Fireflies to get that recorded. But we are exploring multiple avenues within our Fireflies app to the iOS and the Android app to get calls recorded, but that's a work in progress. We are working towards it, but we have some exciting news on it. All that I can share is something related to hardware, but yeah, stay tuned. That's all I can share, but something exciting is coming real soon, in a month's time maybe. And yeah, you'll be able to see that and you'll be able to do whatever you just discussed right now.

[00:46:18] Speaker 1: And while that, also, Jonathan, we have multiple integrations for callers, dialers. So you can pick any and that will integrate with the Fireflies. And then you can use the audio from the meeting for all that Fireflies enables as well. I think we've covered it all. But yeah, we just introduced the integration. But if you want to connect ask Fred to Snowflake, I will check if they have an MCP server. And if they do, it should be just a breeze.
