Speaker 1: I'm a candidate and I'm not in one of the places where you go to recruit okay and but I submit my resume online Goldman Sachs because I really want to work there and I think I've got the skills okay what can I expect to hear back if it's if I'm not the right person are you gonna send me a letter that says we looked at you but no or is that am I just gonna be ghosted you'll always hear

Speaker 2: back that that that'll be the response that you get but let's go to the happier side of that. We want to interview you. And so you'll get an email that invites you to do what we call a HireVue interview. So that's an interview via technology. One of the beautiful things about that is you can take it whenever you want and it turns out that students like to interview at in the evening on Thursday or Sunday night. So they'll get one and HireVue is set up with a standardized set of questions. It gives you a practice question to warm you up because we know that people are often nervous in their first interview so we want people to do their best. So we give them a warm-up question. Then I'll answer a series of questions. People provide answers. They'll submit it. Somebody at Goldman Sachs will review it. If they view you as then making sense, go to the next round. You go to what's a super day, what we call a super day. You'll get flown into New York or take a taxi if you're around. You'll arrive there with a group of other people. You'll go through a series of interviews for a specific division that you might be interviewing with or a couple of divisions. And you'll have your interview. And then after that process, you'll get an an offer or not. So it's really a two-step process that you go through. One which is done by interview, one that's done face-to-face in a series of interviews, and then you get an offer. So we try and make it pretty

Speaker 2: varies because we don't have super days every day, so it can depend on time when we're there, but we obviously try and keep it like within a month of the time that we do, but it varies. Thanks for watching.
