+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hello everyone, my name is Jim Stout. I'm with Stout Law Firm. Today I'm going to walk you through the very quick and easy process of getting on to the Orange County Superior Court virtual hearings that they've been having, or remote hearings, or Zoom hearings. I call them different things. It's very easy and I want to thank you for the questions that have come out regarding this remote hearing issue. And if you like my channel you can subscribe and you can always hit like for my videos. We're going to be updating people on the front line of the Orange County Superior Court system and it's October 12, 2022. So right now the way that you get to a remote hearing, so I'm going to use Orange County Superior Court Family Law case. This is, as far as I know, all the cases are done through this. They don't do them through links. It's possible some judges could do that. I'm not aware of that at this time. But let's assume I won't take the risk. So you go to the Orange County Superior Court website. It's orangecountysuperiorcourt.org. I usually just type in Orange County Superior Court or O-C-S-C. And then you come to the main website and it has a red banner. It says, attention click here for all court information policies and procedures relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. And then you click on that red banner at the top and it says court operations and COVID-19 information. And then you drop down to about midway down the page. It says COVID-19 case type and related information. And then it gives you some blocks to click on. And I would the second block, and it doesn't really say what the reason for going through these blocks are, but it says family law and family court services. You click on that and then you get another red block. And it's click here to appear for family law remote hearings. You click on that and it says family law video appearances. Select the department. And it has, I think, all the departments. It has 52, 53, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 72, 73, 74, L611, C63, and C65. The C stands for central, the L stands for lameral. That's just the location of the courthouse. And then you click through one of these things, one of these blocks. You get click, you get Zoom for government. You get the Zoom website, launch meeting, and then you get please wait for the host to start this meeting. And then that, you do just that. You wait and the judge or the clerk usually will come back and bring you in. So that's as simple as it gets for Orange County Superior Court family law remote court hearings.
