[00:00:00] Speaker 1: There's a few AI tools I started using recently, and honestly, I wish I found them sooner. Not necessarily because they're doing any crazy futuristic things, but because they're now removing the boring parts of my work, the things I used to accept as just part of the process. And what I found is HappyScribe is probably the biggest example of that, because I soon realised I didn't need another AI tool. I needed the boring part of listening to disappear. So let me show you exactly what I mean. Let me give you an example, finding a sentence in one of those two-hour videos. This used to drive me absolutely insane. I'd have a two-hour interview and I remembered something really interesting that was said, but I had no idea where to find it. With HappyScribe, I don't do that anymore. The transcript is connected directly to the recording, so I can just search the word or the phrase, click it and it takes me straight to the exact moment it was said. That alone has saved me hours of work. Another thing that used to be super difficult was taking notes whilst actually trying to listen to what's going on. This is another thing I didn't realise was a problem until I actually stopped doing it. You're in a meeting and someone's talking and you're trying to write down what is actually being said, which means you're not actually listening properly. Now I can let HappyScribe's notetaker capture the full meeting for me. It records, transcribes and gives me the information afterwards, so during the meeting, I can actually have the meeting and afterwards I've got the full conversation. Another problem I found was saving things I'll come back to and never being able to find them again. I've got years of interviews, recordings, meetings saved on my laptop because I think, yeah, I'm definitely going to come back to that and the truth is I never did. Whereas now, I can actually search through the content I've already recorded. I can ask the AI, what did the podcast say about the pricing? And instead of making me listen to the entire thing again, it finds the relevant information. That's when I started realising this isn't about transcription, it's about making everything I've recorded useful again. And have you ever listened through an entire recording just to get a few quotes? If I'm writing a script, a blog or creating social content, I often need two or three really good quotes. Now, the old way would be to listen to the entire interview again. Whereas now, I can just ask HappyScribe to extract the strongest quotes or summarise the entire conversation or turn the source material into something I can actually use. The recordings becomes the raw materials and the AI helps me turn it into the output. Now, let's talk about subtitles. To be honest with you, this one is almost quite embarrassing because I used to think subtitles were just one of those annoying jobs you had to do. Now, the transcript already exists so I can generate the subtitles directly from it. You can adjust them and if I'm making content for international audience, translate them into other languages. And there's one more thing I really like. I don't have to keep installing another piece of software every time I want to do something new. No more extensions, no complicated setups. I can now open the HappyScribe browser, upload a file, paste a link and get started. And that's exactly the pattern you notice with the best AI tools. They're not necessarily the ones doing the most impressive things. They're the ones that take something that you do every day and quietly remove it. For me, HappyScribe has done exactly that. For listening, finding things, taking notes, pulling quotes, creating content, subtitling, translating. All those little jobs that used to sit between me and the thing that I actually wanted to do. Now, they're just steps in the same workflow. And that's why HappyScribe is one of those AI tools I wish I found sooner.
