[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Good morning, everyone. Today, we're diving into the Family Law section of our Archie Prompt Library. We've gathered some amazing prompts to help with those everyday drafting and communication tasks in family law and related litigation. These tools are here to make your work effortless and enjoyable. First things first, let's open a pre-decree matter, which I've already done. Next, you'll want to find the orange Archie tab in the ribbon here. Clicking on it opens Archie's chat window, where you'll find various ways to interact with Archie. Today, our focus is on the prompt library, which you can access by clicking this link on the left side panel.

[00:00:37] Speaker 2: Let's dive in.

[00:00:43] Speaker 1: Since I'm located in Illinois, I'll use the filter tools to narrow down the area of law by selecting the matter type filter. I'm specifically looking for family law prompts. You can scroll through the menu or simply type into the search bar to find what you need. Even though I won't be using it today, there's a handy feature here for narrowing results by output type. Whether you need an email, memo, or letter, Archie has ready-to-use prompts for all these. I'll focus on some standout features instead. Our prompts cover everything from drafting summaries and pleadings to crafting letters and emails. Let's start by exploring the prompt that helps review and summarize a petition for dissolution of marriage. Just click the play button to run it. Archie will ask you for the document you want it to review. I'll click browse documents and find the petition from the list of documents saved to this matter. It was added earlier, so we're all set. I'll select the petition by ticking the box, then click select and submit. Archie will start processing the prompt. On the right hand side, you can see the document being reviewed to ensure you're on the right track. A quick glance at Archie's results shows that it highlights key information from the petition, including details about children, property, pets, yes there are pets, and financial matters, plus much more.

[00:02:14] Speaker 2: Feel free to scan through all the details. You'll find lots of valuable insights here.

[00:02:30] Speaker 1: Back to the prompt library, let me highlight a couple more prompts that might be useful. One is a companion to the summary for the petition for dissolution of marriage. This prompt helps draft responses to the petition. Additionally, we have a post-court status email to clients. Archie will attach the latest court order and summarize the court proceedings for you. There's also a subpoena cover letter that's incredibly handy. Archie offers plenty of out-of-the-box prompts ready for immediate use, or you can customize them to fit your needs. They're perfect for drafting and organizing at various stages of family law cases. These prompts are designed to support you from the initial pleadings through ongoing litigation communications, saving you time and effort every step of the way.
