[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Welcome to another episode of ASMR for Editors. Let's take a deep breath. Today we're exploring sequences. A sequence lets you take two camera angles and edit them as one. No drifting sync. There's three gentle ways to create a sequence. First way, we simply drag your video files into your composition and Descript will whisper a prompt asking if you'd like to combine them into a sequence. Second way, we select the project panel, navigate to our video clip, then we tap the three dots and we'll choose create sequence. And the third way, we go back to the project panel, click the plus icon and select create sequence. Then click on add media. Now that we're inside our sequence, we'll name our clips, we'll check the sync, and we'll check our audio levels. When we're ready, we'll click done. Click on these three dots. We're gonna select new composition from file. Now for a short coffee break. Now our sequence is inside of our composition. I can make an edit and everything stays perfectly in sync. I can choose who appears on screen just by resizing the frame. I can even resize both so they share the moment together. Or I can float over to AI tools and select automatic multicam. I can choose to show active speaker only and I can make sure each camera is paired with the right speaker. Then I click submit and just like that our interview is cut for us. Automatically cutting back and forth between speakers. Clean, smooth, effortless, sweet dreams my beautiful editors.
