Speaker 1: Hello, YouTube. People have asked me how to hardcode subtitles into your video with Adobe Premiere Pro. So here I am trying to answer that. If this video helps you in any way, please like this video and consider subscribing to my channel. Thank you very much. Okay, we are in Premiere Pro. My version is 2020, and I have my subtitles here on my timeline. And my mission is to burn them into my video so that the subtitles cannot be turned off from the video by the user. So the subtitles are like integral part of the video, okay? And a couple of things before we burn these subtitles into our video here. This subtitle layer is called captions. And now I'm thinking, should we talk about captions while we are here in Premiere? Because every time you make these subtitle layers, they are called captions. So you can make this kind of layer, just click with your right mouse button and go here new item and captions. And this layer here, it's standard is open captions, okay? And when you choose open captions here, just go okay. And Premiere creates new open captions layer here. Then you just drag it here and make your subtitles and time them to be shown on correct times. You can see the subtitles from the captions tab. If you don't see this captions tab, go here window and click here captions so you can open this tab right here. Okay, then you just make these subtitles or captions and time them correctly here and style your subtitles also. So change your font, font size and font color. And I have also this opaque background black box behind the text. So you can see it's right there. And let's see these subtitles first.

Speaker 2: Hello, still alive. Who is this? No questions. Just do as I say. You don't have much time.

Speaker 1: And right now these subtitles here, they are on their own layer. So in here, I can still separate these subtitles from the video. But now if I want to burn them really into the video, so the end user who watches this film can't turn these subtitles off. You can do it like this. Just go here file, export media. And while here in your export settings, choose your place where you want it to be exported. So export with subtitles test. And now this is important. Go here captions tab. Okay. And from this export options, click this and burn captions into the video. Okay, so click this. So now you can see it adds the subtitles here or the captions. And yeah, we are good to go. So let's just export this video out really fast. So click export and it will export my video out right now. All right. And let's check them out. Let's see if our subtitles are here.

Speaker 2: Hello. Still alive? Yes. Who is this? No questions. Just do as I say.

Speaker 1: You don't have much time. So they are correctly burned into this video. And I can show you I can't turn them off. So if I go here to the subtitling, it says I don't have any subtitle track here. So these subtitles here right now are like integral part of this video. So I can't turn them off. But yeah, hope this helps you in any way. I hope you will get your subtitles burned into your video.
