+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Kübra and in today's video on how to Interprefy, I'll show you how to prepare your equipment for a session. It is important that your equipment and internet connection are reliable at all times, so you can see, hear and speak without any technical interruptions. Ready to go? Great. Let's get started. Let's start with your computer. For optimal performance, use a computer with Windows 10 or higher, or a Mac computer with OS High Sierra or an even newer version. Make sure your computer is plugged into a power source at all times, as you don't want to suddenly lose connection due to an empty battery. Check that your internet connection is fast. We recommend that you use an Ethernet cable connection instead of Wi-Fi if possible. Wi-Fi is great, but it is prone to interferences. So if your connection gets weak, it may lead to frozen videos or broken audio. You don't want to risk that. Make a speed test on our website and check that your connection is at least 4 Mbps for upload and download. Use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Chromium Edge as your browser. And make sure your browser is updated. If not, perform a quick update on your browser. Now that your computer is ready, let's make sure that you stream your speech in a good audio and video quality. Plug in your USB headset to deliver the best audio quality. Avoid Bluetooth or wireless devices if you wish to take the floor. They are not as reliable as USB and may run out of battery. And the final piece to your perfect setup is getting your camera ready. Use the built-in camera on your laptop or use an external webcam that you plug into your computer via USB. Now let's head over to your computer settings. Go to sound settings and check that your input and output sources match your sound devices. So let's run a quick check. Plug in your equipment, open your browser and visit interpret.world.html to see if all of your devices and connections are working properly. If no red flags arise, there is nothing standing in your way of joining your first successful Interprefy session. Okay now you're all set. Thank you for watching.
