+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Here are two ways to transcribe the audio in DaVinci. The first, you select your clip in the media pool, right-click, and select Audio Transcription, Transcribe. This can take a couple of minutes depending on the duration of your clip. Once done, you can highlight your text and hit Insert or Append. The second method is actually transcribing the timeline itself. From the menu, you select Timeline, Create Subtitles from Audio. Again, in a couple of minutes, based on the settings you choose here, you will have subtitles. You can then modify the subtitles the way you like, the font, the size, the position. There's just one caveat, all the subtitles will look the same. And here's a bonus tip, you can right-click on the timeline and go under Audio Transcription, Transcribe. Once you have the Transcribe page open, you can make live changes to the timeline by removing gaps or text as you like.
