How to Use TikTok's Updated Text-to-Speech Feature: A Step-by-Step Guide (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: TikTok has made another update to text-to-speech on TikTok. So I wanted to update this video to show you exactly how to do text-to-speech on TikTok. Let's go ahead to our TikTok profile here. And I'm going to press the plus sign to get access to my camera to upload to TikTok. And here you could, as usual, upload a video or press record to record a video. I'll go ahead and record and press the check mark. Now, the text-to-speech happens on this page after you upload or record your video. And if you choose the text option on the bottom of the page and you type out text, I'll just type text-to-speech here. I could now select the option you see over here, this one. If I press this, I get a bunch of options for text-to-speech. And I'll show you one more page where you could edit this as well. Let me turn up the volume. Text-to-speech. I'll show you some of the different options. By default, you may get this first one. Let me try this one. Text-to-speech. Okay, so you have a few different options as far as the type of voices. So I'll go ahead and select one and press done. Now, anytime you change your mind, you could press on this and you could change the voice. So you could press this and it'll bring you back to the same page. Let me go ahead and do that, change the voice. You could go ahead and change it to anyone else or press none and nothing will be applied. And then if you change your mind again, press and hold on that. And then you could do text-to-speech from here. So you don't have to do it while you're typing your text. When you're happy, you could go ahead and press next and then post your TikTok video as you normally would. And that's how you do text-to-speech on TikTok. I hope you found this quick video useful.
