Learn to Convert Audio and Video to Text Using Transcribe Speech to Text App (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: Hey everyone. What is up? Welcome back to another video. In this video, I'm gonna be teaching you all how you can convert audio or your voice into text. So as you can see over here, I'm currently on this app and if I click start, everything that I say will convert into text. Not only will convert my voice into text, but it will also convert videos with audio into text. Let's get right into teaching you all how to do this. The first thing that you'll need to do is you need to install an app called Transcribe Speech to Text. I will leave the download link to this app in my description below. So go ahead and check it out if you want to install it quickly. When you open the app, you'll get taken to a page that looks something like this. To convert your voice as you were speaking into text, click the plus button in the bottom right corner and then click on voice recorder. Then after that, click the button that says start. Now as you can see right over here, it is converting everything that I'm saying into text. You can pause it by clicking the button at the bottom left corner as I just did and you can see that everything that I just said in the last seven seconds got transcribed into text. To stop it, simply click the button that says stop at the bottom right over here and then you can click the button that says save. You can go ahead and click save result and then your audio will be saved right over here. To view it, you can simply click it and that is saved on the app. To convert a video that has audio into text, simply click the plus button and click camera roll. Then go ahead and select the video that you want and it will get added to the top right over here. Then click on that and click the button that says transcribe. After that, it will start the transcription. I will show you all what the video is saying right now. Here is the video with the audio that I'm going to transcribe. You may have to wait a bit for the transcription to finish. When the video is done transcribing, it says transcribed with the check mark next to it and if I click on it, you can see that right over here, it has transcribed all the audio in the video into text. If I play it, you can see that the audio will match with the text. Here is the video with the audio that I'm going to transcribe. So of course with the text, you can either share it. If there are any errors, then you can go ahead and edit it by clicking on it. If I want to delete a word, if I want to delete the word that over here, you can just click on it and delete it as if you were normally typing. So at this point, you can do whatever you want with the text. You can also convert files as you can see right over here that have audio into text.
