Speaker 1: Today, I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles like the ones that you see right here, and we are going to do everything in Canva. So if you guys are ready for this tutorial, let's go to my computer. Here we are in our Canva homepage, and the first thing that you would like to do is to go to the video category. So go to video. Here you see that we have different categories and it is very important that you go to video in order to access the new Canva video editor. Okay, so the video that I'm going to edit today, it is this size. So I'm going for this doc type, and I already have access to these new video editing features. And if you haven't created a video doc type before, you will see something like this on your screen. You will see this window. This window is very important for you to access this beta version of the video editor. So remember to click on try it for free, the purple button in order to access these features. If not, you won't be able to do everything that I'm going to show you guys today. Okay, so now let's start. I already have uploaded the video that I want to add subtitles to. So it is this one that I have right here. So I'm going to bring it to my empty page. Today I'm going to teach you how to... And if you haven't uploaded your video yet, you can do it by uploading your media with this button. Or you can actually record yourself directly from Canva. So if you are working on a laptop or even your phone, you can record yourself and then the video will be saved automatically inside Canva. Okay, I have my video here. And now how do we insert or how do we add our subtitles? Let's go to the text section or the text category and add a heading. Let's close this window. We don't need it anymore. And for this particular video, what I'm going to do is that I'll be transcribing everything that I say. So for this, what I'm going to do is to play the video, listen to what I say, and then start transcribing. Okay, so I already listened to what I said. It's something about a sentence length. And as you can see, it is not very easy to read because my shirt is black and the text is black. So we are going to add an effect here. So select the text box, go to effects. I'm going for the splice option and then I'm going to move the offset to zero. So now we have something like this. We can add more thickness to the line if we want. Then let's change the color of the text. I will add a yellow color. I think this looks good. And then I'm also going to change the font for a Montserrat Extra Bold. I like that this font is actually bold, it's thick. So it's going to make it easier for people to read. Now that we have our text ready, we are happy with the font, the colors and everything. We are going to play the video again and try to stop when we hear that the sentence that we wrote ends. So today I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles. Let's play. Today I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles. Stop when I say subtitles, cut. And here we are going to cut our video. We're going to split it into two. So for this, we're going to right click. Here we will see the split option. This is a very new feature. So if you don't see it on your account, don't worry. Just wait a couple of days and I hope that it will appear at some point. So let's go and click split. And now we have our video cut into two. So now we are going to play the second part of the video and let's continue the transcribing process. So let's listen to it. Like the ones that you see right here. Okay, so I have my second subtitle. I'm going to play again and I will do the same process. I'm going to try to stop after I say here. So like the ones you see right here. Play the video. Like the ones that you see right here. Stop and then let's split the video again and we'll continue the same process until we have done all our subtitles. Perfect. Okay, so I think I have finished with my subtitles. I am done with my subtitles. I'm going to play again the video to see how it looks. Let's click on the play button. Today I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles like the ones that you see right here and we are going to do everything in Canva. So if you guys are ready for this tutorial, let's go to my computer. Okay, so this is fine. I don't know if you noticed that at the beginning I saw a little glitch in between these two videos. Let's play again just to be sure that everything is right. Today I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles like the one. Okay, so I don't know if you paid attention. This is just a little bug that I have seen. I already have tried this subtitle thing a couple of times and I have seen that there is a little glitch at the beginning when I play like the first three times of the video. But then after maybe the video is rendering or I don't know what Canva is doing but the glitch is gone after a while. So when I actually download the final video, there is no glitch. So let's see once again to see if we don't see the glitch again. Today I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles like the ones that you see, right? So now it's perfect. I don't know, maybe it's something rendering in the background of Canva as I told you. But let's do the test. Now let's download our video. Let's go to the navigation bar on top. Let's click on the download button. And before video, I'm going to select all the pages because we need all the video parts that we created or the video sections and then download. Okay, so let's watch the final outcome. Today I'm going to teach you how to create subtitles like the ones that you see right here and we are going to do everything in Canva. So if you guys are ready for this tutorial, let's go to my computer. So what do you guys think about this final outcome? Let me know in the comments. I also would like to know if you actually are going to try this trick out. I think it was pretty simple and easy. What do you guys think? I would like to hear what you have to say. If you like this video, remember to give us a thumbs up. We are going to continue uploading tutorials related to video editing, video animation. So if you guys are interested in those future tutorials, remember to subscribe and hit the bell button. I think this is it for today. I'm going to leave you guys an affiliate link here in case that you want to enjoy a free trial of Canva Pro. And I'm going to leave you guys two tutorials right here in case that you want to keep learning about Canva. And I think this is it for today.
