Speaker 1: Hi everyone, welcome to my channel let's learn. Previously I have made videos about how to do automatic transcription in so many different ways. But most of them were about the English language only. But today's video is going to be very special because after watching it you will be able to do automatic transcription in almost every major language. So without any further ado let's get started. First of all open MS Word online. As you all know MS Word has a dictation tool.

Speaker 2: Yes it has but dictation is not transcription.

Speaker 1: Alright but the dictation tool lets you write anything that you speak in real time. All you have to do is select your language and the tool is ready to write in that language.

Speaker 2: Okay I got it but wait this video is not about dictation. This is about automatic transcription.

Speaker 1: Exactly that is why I am going to teach you how you can convert any dictation tool into an automatic transcription tool.

Speaker 2: That sounds great.

Speaker 1: But to do this we need any one of these tools stereo mix virtual audio cable or voice meter. These are all free tools I will leave a link in the description. I also have a separate tutorial for all these tools. If you want to learn more please go ahead and check out those tutorials. Right now I am using virtual audio cable to change my dictation tool into an automatic transcription tool. To achieve this you have to make a few changes in the sound settings. First go to system tray, right click on sound icon, open sound settings and select virtual audio cable in both input and output channels. That's all you have to do. You have successfully changed the dictation tool into an automatic transcription tool. Let's see how this works. To test this arrangement I am going to play 3 short audio clips in 3 different languages. Starting with English language. Before we start let's bring this little window near the audio player so we can hit play button quickly one after another. Hey guys welcome my name is Ram and you are watching let's learn. Now after transcribing in English language I want to transcribe in Hindi language. To do this I only have to change the dictation language to Hindi by clicking on this gear icon. Search Hindi and select it. And now play the Hindi sample audio and start dictation tool immediately. Namaskar friends my name is Ram and you are watching let's learn. You can see this method has produced pretty impressive results. I speak English and Hindi languages and I can confirm this transcription is more than 95% accurate. Here again I am just changing the language option to Spanish and repeating the same steps as I did earlier in this video.

Speaker 1: I don't speak Spanish so I can't comment on the accuracy of this Spanish transcript but I expect it to be similar to English and Hindi transcripts. If you want to transcribe any other language which is not supported by MS Word you can try other dictation tools that supports your preferred language. The only reason why I am using MS Word is that it works absolutely fine and produces highly accurate results. You can use Google Docs in place of MS Word. First you have to go to tools and then voice typing. Select your preferred language just like I did in MS Word. Google Docs supports more than 100 languages. With this trick you can do free unlimited automatic transcription in any language forever. No free trials, no subscriptions needed. So basically you have learned to break all barriers in your transcription journey. I hope you find this trick useful.
