The state's mobilization, happening as the Pentagon has ordered about 1,500 active-duty soldiers to prepare for possible deployment to Minnesota, a Trump administration source told CNN. President Donald Trump has threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act to quell protests. This all as tensions remain high in Minneapolis following protests sparked when an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot Renee Goode.
