+1 (831) 222-8398[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Denmark and NATO are really ramping up their presence here in Greenland. Overnight, the Danish military flew in a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft here into Nuuk. They're increasing their military presence, they say, because of rising security tensions. The French are sending troops here. They say they're coming to join an ongoing Arctic military exercise. The Finns are also sending troops here. They are going to be looking at training possibilities. That's how the Finns are describing it. The Germans say they're sending 13 military personnel here. And those personnel are coming here on a reconnaissance mission to look at the ways that they can explore to improve the security situation because of an increased presence of the Chinese and Russians in the Arctic region. The framing here, all countries have a different way of framing it, but the framing it really seems to set the scene for President Trump that NATO is addressing security concerns in and around Greenland.
