Speaker 1: Hi there, I want to record a quick video of showing you how to navigate the transcription service that I'm using, which is called Otter. Once you log in, actually, you will see this full list of all the audios. And what I'm going to do is here under group, I'm going to start a group, and I will add your email to it. So so yeah, so please send me your email address. So let's use an example. I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 so far. So I'm I have about 144 minutes remaining. That is free. If needed, I can always upgrade this to premium. So you click on Basila Bukoko. First thing is if there's anything before the title, such as you know, FaZe World podcast, just clean that up when we get the audio file. So it starts with the person's first and last name. And this interface here is actually quite helpful because it can summarize some of the keywords and tags associated. And also show you the length of this episode here. So for you to make edits, so to actually start playing, you just click anywhere at the beginning of the episode. And to pause that, you can do that. You can also use the spacebar on your keyboard to start and stop something. And so to change something, you won't be able to change it right away. So what you need to do is anytime you hover over, you just click on that. So let me do that one. So you know, you can really make other changes. And every time you make changes, it's actually automatically saving that. And then when it's done, when the changes are done, you just want to make sure that you click done or you can actually use undo as well there. So basically, this is pretty helpful. Another thing I really need help with is to actually identify the speaker. So here it shows you the first one is me, Fei Wu. And then actually repeats all the other speakers that has been tagged before. So here, what we want to do is adding Basila. First name basis is actually just fine. So that's great. Now, so now, you know, the second person is also Basila. So let's use it. So you keep doing, repeating the same. It's already knows it's me. So dear Faze World podcast listener, so you know there's something, it's not right there. So you know, I honestly don't really care about upper or lower case here. But anything over here, this is Faze World podcast. And then you can keep listening if you want. And if you're done, that's done. Hey, you notice that it's actually not bad. It knows basically when I'm speaking. This saves a lot of time. I don't know if there's another way to just bulk update everyone else to be this person. But I think you probably have to do it manually. The reason why the system knows it's me is because Otter has this thing called learning teach Otter your voice. So I recorded something prior and it knows when it's me to do that. So this is one way for you to make edits directly within the documents. I personally think this is the easiest way to do it. But alternatively, what you can also do is click on this dot dot dot upper right hand corner and you can actually export the text into a text file or a file of your choice. So you can also do it as a PDF, but let's see, include speaker names, timestamps. Yep, you want all that included. So you will be able to export a file. And hopefully you're able to see my screen. And that is the file you get. So you can also edit from here. Actually, that's almost kind of, you know, personally, I think to edit at the paragraph level, it helps to be in Otter because audio plays along the line of the text itself. If there's, for example, there's no other way to replace unknown, this person I know all with Basila, maybe at the very end, you can export the file and just replace it all. But again, these conversations, as you can see, it's in terms of how quickly you can scroll through. It's not it's not impossible to actually edit all this. So let me let me see what happens if I just search for Basila right now in the search box. It doesn't seem like it will be searching for the name itself. So yeah, so that's hopefully this helps a little bit. And the other program I use is called Sonics.ai. That one has a replace feature, but, you know, none of this is really, truly perfect. So I really want to start here. And if there's a better, honestly, if there's a better transcription service and such, I'm happy to explore that. This one is free, which is awesome. Thanks so much.
