[00:01:43] Speaker 2: So to add the real ID, we have to have the new card that's not expired. Even with this, we can't do anything. We have to have that actual card itself. So the real ID is just for traveling right now.

[00:02:41] Speaker 1: This is your requirement. I won't get extension of my ID until...

[00:02:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, so you get the extension of the license. It just doesn't qualify for the real ID. We have to have that actual new card.

[00:02:58] Speaker 1: So this extension letter from USCIS.

[00:03:02] Speaker 2: No, I ran it in the system and it still is not accepting it.

[00:03:06] Speaker 1: But it's USCIS, the organization which are providing green cards.

[00:03:15] Speaker 2: So it extends it so that you can renew it, but it doesn't extend it to add the real ID. The actual card has to be valid. So this is just from TSA's website. This is just information that they have that can go in place of the permanent resident. This is from our handbook.
