RCMP respond as school enters lockdown amid gun report (Full Transcript)

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: It's Trent, I'm here at the school where there's an active feeder incident. Unfortunately, I got bumped from my live stream by people calling me to tell me stuff. So right now, I'm getting reports that the district properties have been locked down as well as ShopEasy. So I'm seeing RCMP entering the school, so I'm assuming that there's not any active threat right at the moment. The roads are being blocked off. You can see district employees blocking off this road. And other than that, there is no information. I talked to a concerned parent who's here waiting. He got a call from his son who is sheltering in place in the gym. And he's just waiting to hear from his other kid and is quite rightly nervous. I haven't heard any reports of gunshots, but all I've got really is the alert that went out just after I arrived on scene, which said that there's a person, suspected person with a gun, described as female, brown hair, and wearing a dress.
