Recovered Porch Footage Becomes Key Break in Case (Full Transcript)

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: The reason why the video that came from Nancy Guthrie's porch, the childhood home of Savannah Guthrie, is so important today is because obviously law enforcement thought that it had disappeared either because the abductor took that camera or because some of the cameras weren't filming or somehow the footage had been corrupted, but the FBI, working with private companies, was able to get some of this footage, which is a huge break. People out there who maybe live in more urban environments wonder, well, what about other cameras, what about other people's houses, etc., and I just want to illustrate here that the foliage makes it so that, like, I'm at a house now, right, and you can't see the house because there is so much of this brush and trees, etc., so even if these houses had, like, 30 cameras, security cameras, they're aimed at their own property and would not have caught any of this. So that's why this break is so big and giving the Guthrie family, thankfully, finally, some hope.
