+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Hey everyone, my name is Tim. Today I'm going to show you how you can convert an audio file to a text file. All right, to get started, head over to your browser and simply type in the URL box, edit.new. You can also click on the first link in the description. Now we're redirected to VEED's online video editor, and we will use this to convert our audio file to text. So to get started, upload your audio file. We're going to click on upload a file and select the audio file you want to convert and click on open. And now you can choose a template, but it's not needed because we want to have the text file. So we're going to click on start with a blank canvas. And now, if you take a look at the bottom timeline, we imported our MP3 file. Hey, what's up everyone. My name is Tim. We can listen back to it and start editing. All right. To turn audio into text, we want to transcribe the audio file first. So to make this happen, head over to subtitles in the left menu and you can manually add subtitles if you like, but to make it more convenient, you can also use the auto subtitle tool, which will automatically transcribe the audio to text, select the language you speak in your video, in this case, it's English. And then click on start. And now, depending on the size of the video and your wifi speed, your audio will be transcribed to text and turn into subtitles. All right. And as you can see, the audio is transcribed to text and we can start editing the text as well. As you can see in the left boxes, you can see all the words there. You can correct one of them. If you like, you can correct all the words. You can even add more words if you like, but we're going to leave it as it is. I'm already content. So to download our text file, simply head over to options in the subtitle menu, and then head over to download subtitles and click on the little toggle. You can select the format you want to convert to. In this case, it's text. So we're going to click on that and then click on the download button on the right side. And as you can see, now the text file is downloaded to our device. We can open a text file and that's how you easily convert your audio file to text. All right. Thank you so much for watching. Good luck and have a nice day.
