+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Good day everyone, you're watching Ratio Fixes. On today's video, I'm going to walk you through step-by-step instruction on how to insert subtitles for a video or captions, video captions in a PowerPoint video which you have already inserted in PowerPoint. Now this feature is available in PowerPoint 2019. Now in my case, you see that I've already added a video in my PowerPoint presentation. Now in order to add subtitles, what I will have to do is, I will have to click on Insert tab. Under Insert tab, as soon as you highlight the video which you have already inserted, you will see a tab which says Playback tab. Under Playback tab, you will see an option which says Insert Captions. Once you click on Insert Caption, click on Insert Captions and you will have to select the VTT file because the caption file is always in VTT file. So that's the file format which is being supported in PowerPoint. So you click on it, select that file and click on Insert. That particular subtitle file will be inserted in PowerPoint. Now if these are the couple of options what you see, if you don't want your subtitles to be showed or played during the presentation, you can click on Off or you can select this option. Now if I go to the slideshow mode, what you will see, what you would see is that the subtitles will be enabled. So let me go ahead and put the presentation in slideshow mode and click on Play. So you will see the subtitles here. So these are the sample subtitles I have added in my PowerPoint presentation. So this is the way how you can go ahead and add subtitles into a video which you have inserted in PowerPoint. In case if you don't want the subtitles to be shown up, you can either turn it off or you can remove the subtitles by clicking on the Insert Caption option and click on Remove All Captions. So this is how you can go ahead and insert subtitles or video captions into your PowerPoint video. I hope you like this video. In case if you like this video, please make sure you hit the like button and do not forget to subscribe to my channel. Thank you. Have a great day.
