Tillis unloads on Miller, calls Trump team ‘amateurs’ (Full Transcript)

[00:00:04] Speaker 2: Well, actually it has its roots with Stephen Miller, none other. He's probably focused too much on his Duke education and should go back to third grade math. My granddaughter can figure out we don't have the votes to get that done.

[00:00:18] Speaker 1: Senator Tom Tillis, who is retiring, has offered the most scathing Republican criticism towards one of Donald Trump's most powerful advisors, Stephen Miller. He slammed him on everything from foreign policy to immigration enforcement.

[00:00:33] Speaker 3: The United States should have Greenland as part of the United States. Nobody's going to fight the United States militarily over the future of Greenland.

[00:00:42] Speaker 2: You know what makes me cranky? Stupid. What makes me cranky is when people don't do their homework. What makes me cranky is when we tarnish the extraordinary execution of a mission I fully support in Venezuela by turning around and making insane comments about how it is our right to have territory owned by the kingdom of Denmark. Folks, amateur hour is over. Either Stephen Miller needs to get into a lane where he knows what he's talking about or get out of his job. Stephen Miller never fails to live up to my expectations of incompetence. Why do you think he should resign? I'm going to leave that up to the president. I can tell you if I were president, neither one of them would be in Washington right now. I've continued to tell the president, you've got to get the amateurs out of the Oval Office. For his own sake, for his legacy, but for the sake of Republicans.

[00:01:38] Speaker 1: Stephen Miller has not responded publicly to Tillis' latest attack, but President Trump has called the senator a loser. And this is how the senator responded when I asked him about that.
