So in today's video I want to share with you 15 transcription sites that pay well up to $15 to $25 per hour. So I have spoken about transcription before but simply put, transcription basically is listening to audio and listening to a video and actually typing out what is being said, whether you need to save it in a document form or you need to create subtitles. So that is what transcription is all about. So let's jump right into these 15 websites. So the first website is WayWithWords. So WayWithWords launched in 2002. It is an established international audio to text services and solutions company providing English language audio, video or custom transcription solutions to thousands of clients globally. They continually strive to provide the best transcription services using select pools of transcribers from around the world and partnering with leading technology companies and startups in their field. You can work when and wherever you want. So they are looking for people who are proficient in English as their first language from countries such as South Africa, the UK, countries across the European Union, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. And you can actually decide whether you want to do this as a freelancer or you want to do it as full time. And the second company is Rev. So many transcriptionists consider it a better platform for beginners, where they can make $245 per month, whereas some top transcriptionists also make around about $1,495 per month. While working with Rev, you can decide which files you want to transcribe according to your own schedule. You will also receive regular feedback and coaching from other members. So when do you get paid when you're on Rev? They will pay you every week on a Monday via PayPal. The third website is Scribi. Scribi is another audio or video transcription website. The work involves listening to audio files and typing the same as accurately as possible. So how does Scribi pay? A normal transcriptionist can make around 200 to $300 per month, depending on the time that you give. There is no minimum payout amount, so you can withdraw your money anytime you want. Scribi transfers all payments via PayPal. Number four is transcribe me. So I would actually advise you to check that out if you really do see yourself in a space where you actually want to grow. So how does transcribe me pay? They pay via PayPal and there is no minimum payout. You can make $20 by transcribing one hour of audio files. Number five is SpeechPad. SpeechPad was founded in 2008 to provide high quality transcriptions and caption services at competitive prices. They have a wide range of corporate clients such as Amazon, LinkedIn, L'Oreal, Netflix, and so much more. So how does SpeedPad pay? a beginner, you will make about $15 an audio hour. SpeechPad does all the payments via PayPal every single Friday. So how does SpeechPad pay? As a beginner, you will make $15 an audio hour. Costing words has been around since 2005 and they provide a whole range of transcription services to businesses and professionals around the world. How does Costing Words pay? Your account must have at least one dollar before getting paid. Costing Words pays every Friday via PayPal. Number seven is Quicktate. Quicktate is another transcription company where they hire transcriptionists from around the world. They transcribe voicemail messages, conference calls, recordings on phone calls, memos, letters, legal files, medical files and all other audio files. How does QuickTake pay? This website provides better transcription jobs for beginners. QuickTake pays every Monday via PayPal. Number eight is Go Transcript. Go Transcript is a professional transcription company founded in 2005 in Scotland. Their top transcriptionists earn around $1,615 per month. So how does Go transcript pay. You will make at least $150 every month, but this depends on you and how much time you are giving into the work. So Go Transcript does payments via PayPal and Payoneer every Friday. Number nine is Accutran Global. Accutran Global provides transcription and related services to clients around the world. It has been around since 2002. Their higher transcription is for financial, general and medical transcription projects. So how does AccuTrend Global pay? You will receive all your payments on the 15th of every month via PayPal. Number 10 is GMR Transcription. So they provide all types of transcription services for podcasts, academic, legal, business, market research and meetings. Whether you're an English or Spanish transcriptionist, they accept everyone. Whether you are a beginner or even an intermediate. Number 11 is Tigerfish. So Tigerfish only hires US citizens or legal residents offering a friendly flexible environment. So unfortunately they only focus on the US market and not everyone across the world. Number 12 is Speakwrite. Speakwrite was established in 1997 and is one of the most popular transcription companies out there. They offer legal, general and Spanish transcription jobs having different criteria for selection. How does Speak Write pay? Transcriptionists are paid twice a month either by direct deposit or by cheque. They do not offer PayPal or other payment services. And number 13 is 1888, type it up. So they are also 100% US-based company and they focus on US job creation so they focus on the U.S. clientele and are looking for people who are based in the U.S. They are proud to provide one of the leading and most trusted transcription services tailored for virtually any company or individual with audio or video to transcribe. And number 14 is Ubiqus. So Ubiqus offers a whole lot of different services from translation, interpretation, transcription, but for the sake of this video, we're obviously going to take a look at transcription. So, Ubiquis has been delivering high quality transcription services for more than 60 years. They have an extensive network of transcriptionists, typists, and data entry personnel, which allows them to select the right professional for their different projects. And last but not least is everback transcription. So, how do you get paid with everback transcription? You get paid via PayPal, they have a very competitive pay of $1 per audio minute for normal files and $1.50 per audio minute for same day and overnight files. This works out to be $60 and $90 respectively per audio hour and roughly $20 to $30 of work per hour for more skilled transcriptionists. So Everback is always on the lookout for skilled transcribers to join their team. So some qualities that they would like to see in their transcribers is a keen attention to detail, proficiency with English language both spoken and written, a good ear for understanding spoken words even through heavy accents. So a transcriber will need to be able to be punctual and accurately transcribe client material, work independently and meet deadlines, communicate via email, pass an initial skills test, have high speed internet to upload and download files, use Express Scribe or your transcription software of choice, edit and finalize your own work.
