Speaker 1: So people come on this website to get their documents transcribed. They upload the things, we transcribe, you and me, and they get the work done, we get paid, okay? So, simple as that. The website is called gmrtranscription.com. You've probably heard about it before. It's a popular website, and they've got really, really good partners. Just take a look at this. Harvard University, Amazon, all of these bigger companies, they come to transcribe their documents. Now, the question comes today, well, why would they pay for it if they can use AI tools today, you know? And the answer is really simple and short. AI isn't as good as humans when it comes to this. That is why, when you go over to careers, you can see right here that you can earn anywhere between $1,000 to $3,000 per month by just transcribing, all right? But you have to look at this. You have the general transcriptionist here, which is, of course, in the English language, and you've got Spanish transcriptionist. Now, that is a good thing. Someone knows Spanish, you can just head over and do those. If you know the English well, you can do those. Later on, I'm gonna show you one more, which has a lot more languages, so you can maybe just find your own country there. But let's, for now, just see what GMR is about. Now, before I delve deeper into this, I have to show you that GMR has made like things, for example, this exclamation point, this warning, and they say that certain people have posed as them on websites just like Upwork to try to get applicants to send them money. You know, you have to be wary of this, because they will only accept people who apply through the website and pass the test, all right? So just be sure that you don't fall for that. You know, there's a lot of people out there who wanna scam you. So just beware of that. Just go through the official GMR website, and you are gonna be all right. So what do you wanna do when you come here? Just head over down and choose one of these. If you are fluent in Spanish, just be my guest. But this is where a lot more of us would fall into. So this category of general transcriptionist. Click here to apply. And then they give you one more warning, and this is really true. This is not an easy way to make money on the side. Now, it's not like you're just gonna get the text and you just do it, blah, blah, blah, forget about it. No, you have to take this seriously. Now, this is a hard work. This is the only way in which you can get more than $1,000 per month for this kind of work. This is one of the best websites out there. So you gotta take it seriously. There's a lot of people out there. I know, you can get money easily. You don't have to work a lot. In fact, you don't have to work at all. Well, that's just lies, all right? There is no job out there which will pay you for doing nothing, all right? Never ever, nowhere, all right? So just know that, all right? So please proceed if you're ready to work hard, meet strict deadlines, have exceptional English and grammar skills, and can commit to at least 10 hours per week to GMR. So if you comply with this, then you can go and click on this one. I'm ready for the commitment and work hard, and then you will just have to start the one minute GMR typing test. Now, this is the way, this is the point where we actually stop in the video because I have to just give you one trick in order to pass this first test. Because as you can see, you must type at least 50 words per minute with 90% accuracy or better. Now I know we don't just type a lot, or if we type a lot, we do it slowly sometimes because we're not under pressure. This will put you under some pressure. You can see that average typing speed is around 40 words per minute. And they want you to have 50 words per minute. So here's what you can do. Head over to this website, which is called typintest.com. And they've got a lot of these tests that you can partake in. And you can actually just practice, you know? So for example, if you head over to this medium text and you choose one minute test, click on this and you will actually just start to type out the text, for example. So the movie, Godfather, whatever. And they will calculate what is your typing speed and what is the accuracy. Now I'm talking at the same time as I'm writing this, so I'm not good. I think I can go more than 50 words per minute. And I think anyone can with some practice, but this is a good trick because if you just make enough practice on this website now, then go over and do the test on GMR and you will have a lot of easier time there. So what do you wanna do? Enter your email address and start the test. Then the typing test is gonna look like this. So try to correct errors while typing as accuracy level is important. Also, what is important is that you do not refresh the page because it'll just serve them as a suspicion thing, you know? So you have a little bit of this text here, so it's not long. So I just suggest practice on typing test, see what is your score here. As you can see, my best is 59 words per minute. So if I can do it, anyone can, honestly. So this is how it's gonna look like when you pass the test. You can see your speed here. So 62 words per minute and your accuracy level. And you have passed the typing test and can move forward with the application. Now click on this button, apply now. And what is important after you do this, you can see that they only hire US-based applicants. So if you're not from the US, you cannot do that. You cannot apply, but don't worry. I've got one more website for you if you wanna do it outside the US. But if you are from the United States, just proceed with this application. Just complete this simple information about yourself and then just click on submit resume. And that's it. You are ready to start with GMR. Now I just wanna tell you, and I wanna show you the website which works outside the US as well. It is called Rev.com. And here, apart from English, you've got a lot of more languages. So you can just do this in your native language. So for example, if I just go and if I just scroll down to the bottom of the website, I have this button which is entitled become a freelancer. Then you can just scroll down right away and you can see that transcriptionists are paid between 30 cents and $1.1 per audio video minute. So that is a really good pay. And I'm gonna show you how much you can get money for, but I just wanna show you this. If you know a foreign language, so if you come from another country, you can get anywhere from $1.5 to $3 per minute. Now, these languages are in demand. So that's why you get paid even more than if you did it in the English. So let me just show you some of these languages that are available. First of all, almost $1,000 per month is available for you. And if your language is on this list, well, you are a lucky guy. And as I've told you, these are in demand, all right? A lot of people are coming there and they just wanna get these documents transcribed through Rev.com. Now, GMR is better for the English language, of course, but they do not have this. They do not offer these kinds of services. And this is a good opportunity for us that we don't live in the US, you know, because GMR is only for US-based applicants. So if you know Korean, you can just get $4 per audio or video minute. If you know Italian, it's gonna be 2.5. If you know, I don't know, maybe Hindi, 2.20, Spanish, 1.70, although Spanish is better on GMR. So skip this one if you know Spanish and you live in the US. And honestly, Rev. is a beautiful place to work on. I worked on it a lot of my time. I just used this one. And I know that a lot of people are using this as well. They really like it. And I mean, who wouldn't? You can get like $1,000 per month just by transcribing subtitles, documents, audio files. And as you can see, you get paid via PayPal. So that's all that you need. If PayPal is for some reason banned in your country, you can just talk to them and they will just figure out how can they pay you. Now, the last website that I wanted to show you today is transcribeme.com. And it's one more very good one. It works outside the US as well. And it's just another source of money for you because if you have a lot of these, well, you're just gonna get a lot more work. Instead of you just waiting for Rev.com or GMR to just give you the assignment, you can just apply yourself to a lot more of these and have a better reach to this work out there. And if you're really serious about this one, if you wanna turn this into a full-time job, you can easily go over and make yourself a gig on Fiverr, all right? And that is a really easy thing to do, but you gotta be patient with this one because sometimes there's a lot of competition. But if you niche down, for example, to German transcription as this person has did, you can easily get $10 for up to five minutes of audio, for example. And there's a lot of other languages. You just have to do the research and you gotta see what other people are doing and you will be fine. It's a really good opportunity for anyone. Just make yourself a gig and just wait for some work. If you have GMR, if you have Rev.com, transcribe me maybe two of these and you just add yourself a gig on Fiverr. You can make this into a full-time job. It's, of course, just gonna depend on you how much you wanna work for it. If you work hard at it, it's gonna be really good. So whether you wanna use GMR, Rev.com, or just go with the free Lansing route, all you gotta do is to sit down, listen to audio examples or sometimes videos, and you just have to type them out. It's a really good job. Anyone can do it, whether you are a student, teenager, older person, anyone can do it for money. And that is the power of today's website world. All right, go and get that money, work for it, and I'll catch you in the next video.
