Okay guys, let's get right into the video of the day. to search for universities, how to search and find scholarships in the United States for your undergraduate and master's programs. So what you have to do to make it easy, we're going to head over to Google. Just type in EducationUSA. Once you search this, you're going to come over to the first result right here where you see EducationUSA.state.gov and you're going to click on this first result right here. This will take you to the official website, EducationUSA. This is an official website from the United States government and right here you can find everything pertaining to studying in the USA. It's a very useful website for anyone who wants to study in the USA and what we want to do here is to search for scholarships and what you have to do is come over to the menu and you can see five steps to USA study. So if you hover around this, you are going to see the five steps right here. The first step is research your options. So this is going to give you all the information you need to research your options. The second step is to finance your studies. And this is particularly what we are interested in in this video. And the third step is complete your application. You're going to get a steps on what to do to complete your application and also apply for your visa, student visa, which is the first step. And the fifth step is prepare for your departure. So this website basically got you covered if you want to study in the USA. For this video, we are interested in the second step, which is financial studies. So that is what we're going to click on. Click on the second step. And that will bring you over to this page right here. So financial studies. So right here, you're going to read out the information here. But if you look at the left hand side, you can see what you're interested in. If you're interested in community college, undergraduate programs, graduate programs, short term programs, English language or online learning. So depending on what you're interested in, you just have to click on it. However, for this video, we are interested in the undergraduate as well as graduate programs. First of all, we're going to take a look at the graduate programs. But if you're an undergraduate, you still have to work because the steps are quite similar. So you just have to follow through with this video. So we're going to click on graduates. On the next page, you can see right here, graduates, financial studies, and you can read through what is written right here. But what we are interested in is at the bottom of this page. So you want to come to the bottom of this page and you can see general funding resources. So these are the links that will take you to numerous opportunities that would help you fund your studies in the USA. There are a lot of them as you can see right here, however, we're going to take a look at two of these links. We are going to look at the guaranteed scholarships as well as the international scholarships. So first, we're going to take a look at the international scholarships. So I'm going to click on this link. It takes you to this page right here at international scholarships.com and this is where we're going to do some of the magic so it's quite easy right here you can see and right here if you already have an idea of the scholarship you're looking for you can put it in right here however we can just use this other features right here so what are you looking for so you can see if you click on this you can select the course that you're interested in for example you are going for accounting so I'm gonna click on accounting if you're going for an accounting course and the The next question is, where are you studying? So we are interested in the United States. So I'm going to search for United States. So I'm going to click on United States right here. And then the third question is, where are you from? So just put in your nationality right here for this video, I'm going to put in Nigeria. And after that, you just click on search button right here. So when you click on the search button, it's going to create a list of scholarships that are eligible to apply to as you can see right here. What you have to do is go through the scholarships. You can see a brief description of the scholarship here and also some other details about the scholarship. So you have to go through the list and look for a scholarship that suits you. So you can see right here there's an example right here. This is a Global Leadership Fruition Scholarship. To learn more about the scholarship you can click on the scholarship name and it takes you to this page where you can see the month you can see more details about the scholarship this is like 58 000 scholarship and you can see the deadline for this particular case and every other details you need to know so if you come down right here you can see that you need to register or log in so that you can get the link to visit the scholarship page so this could take you to the scholarship page if it's the scholarship is coming directly from a university it will take you to the university's page where the scholarship is announced so you can see more details and apply to the scholarship. So first you have to register on this particular website and then you can log in before you start your search. So there are a lot of scholarships, you can come down, there are a lot of scholarships, there's even the Empower Monthly Scholarship, there's also the Zob Global Scholarship, so you have to check them out. There's new international scholarship opportunities monthly, Maron Global Excellence Scholarship. So I don't know much about these scholarships but these are scholarships that can help you depending on the course you want to study, on the country you're from, you might get different scholarships and I believe you can get something that will help you study for free in USA. So there's Empower Global Citizen scholarships right there as well so just check them out. There's a lot of scholarships so if So if you come down, you can see the pages are so many, there's more than 10 pages right here of scholarships. So hopefully, hopefully you can find a scholarship. It might take some time because you have to go through the scholarships, but at least you have something to search and you can get a scholarship that will help you study for free in USA. So right here we can see the guaranteed scholarships and these are scholarships that are guaranteed as you can see the scholarships listed on this page are all guaranteed. So that is quite interesting. So let's come down to check them out. So these are scholarships from different colleges, from different universities in USA, and they have an eligibility requirement. Once you meet that eligibility requirement, you qualify automatically for a particular amount of scholarship. So you can see them at CL. So what you need to do is note the university and see if you meet the requirement. And once you do, you can contact the university to make more inquiries. And I believe you will get a scholarship. So for example, we have Alfred State College, New York, and you can see the scholarships that are offered. They have the Excellence in Education Scholarship. You can see the requirements right here. It requires an SAT score of 1310, ACT score of 28, and you can see the value of the scholarship free tuition room board for all the four years. So if you meet these requirements, well, you see the guaranteed scholarship. So once you meet all these requirements, your SAT score, your SAT score are all guaranteed, then you have an automatic scholarship of free tuition room board for all the four years of your studies. So I think this is actually an undergraduate scholarship. So you can see the other scores and the value of the scholarship are going to get. So you can see right here, we have another university, you can see the scholarship awarded. So just go through these websites, you're going to find different universities, their criterias and scholarships that are guaranteed. So this is another interesting one, Auburn University, and you can see if you have this GPA and you have this ACT scores or ACT scores. These are the scholarships that you can get $18,000 and a total of $72,000 of scholarship, $52,000 of scholarship and $32,000 of scholarship. So that is quite interesting. So check out these guaranteed scholarships. There are a lot of them, but I would advise that you always contact the university to make more inquiry about this guaranteed scholarship before you apply. Especially if you have to take this test like ACT and SAT to meet the score to try to get this guaranteed scholarship, it is advisable that you first of all contact the university to make inquiries about these guaranteed scholarships. The reason being that things change over time and it is possible that some things have changed and you have to find out before you make the commitment. So here we have another interesting one, Cornerstone University. This is also a GP and ACT based scholarship and it is quite interesting because you can see right here 68,000 dollars of scholarship. So there's a lot of them so do what to check out by yourself. So you can see the list is is quite lengthy. So back on this page make sure to check out the other links. You have interesting scholarship opportunities right here as well. So guys, just like the graduates, the same thing applies to the undergraduates.
