+1 (831) 222-8398[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Today I'm here to film a commercial for the Zoom product and the Zoom company, sorry.
[00:00:08] Speaker 2: Today we are shooting a Zoom commercial. It's sequel.
[00:00:13] Speaker 3: The first version of the commercial we did, it came out of the idea that a lot of workers at companies were secretly using Zoom.
[00:00:21] Speaker 4: The second ad is taking a little bit of a different spin. And this one is more about the breadth and the depth of the Zoom portfolio.
[00:00:29] Speaker 2: It kind of starts in that old world, that old commercial reveals Kate. It kind of follows Kate as our protagonist on this journey through wanting to destroy Zoom and then maybe ultimately loving Zoom.
[00:00:40] Speaker 1: Beautiful.
[00:00:41] Speaker 2: Also written by Colin, we were able to bring in Alex, the same production designer. Connected to the old world, but then make it its own thing. I think the biggest priority is to let Kate be Kate, because the more you're going to let Kate be Kate, the funnier it's always going to be. So funny, so incredible, so prepared. It's like honestly a dream come true.
[00:00:57] Speaker 5: Zoom got it done.
[00:01:02] Speaker 2: So we've been using Weirdly Enough Wizard of Oz as a frame of reference on how we approach things. The idea behind this was really about bringing the saturation. You have this cold kind of desaturated world in the beginning and then you're brought into the warmth of Zoom by the end.
[00:01:16] Speaker 3: Getting to work with Kate again is a dream. I would do it any day of the week on any project.
[00:01:21] Speaker 1: How was it working with Colin Jost? I can't get past how good he looks.
[00:01:26] Speaker 2: We were Zooming with Zoom and recording Zooms on Zoom with Zoom, and so all of it was very Zoom-based.
[00:01:31] Speaker 1: I'm a modern woman. Yeah, I'm Zooming. Okay. How else do you want me to conduct my business? Snail mail.
