Speaker 1: hi everyone welcome to my channel let's learn in today's video you will learn how you can transcribe your audio or video files for absolutely free no subscriptions no free trials no limits you will be able to do unlimited automatic transcriptions forever that too without spending any money so without any further ado let's get started first of all you will need Descript transcription software on your computer I already have installed Descript on my PC I also have made a detailed video about Descript if you If you want to learn how to install and use Descript transcription software, watch the video in the iCard or link is also in the description. Next, you need an Android app called Live Transcribe and Sound Notifications by Google. Using Google's state-of-the-art automatic speech recognition and sound detection technology, this app provides you free real-time transcriptions of your conversations. Now, open the Descript software on your computer and create a new project, let's say free automatic transcription demo. Then press this plus button and select audio recording to add a recording track. Next open the live transcribe and notification app on your mobile. Go to settings by pressing this gear icon and here make sure save this transcription option is enabled then go back. The app is ready to transcribe. Make sure you are in a quiet surrounding because external noise can impact the accuracy of the app. Hi this is a live recording. If you are looking at your screen you will see whatever I say is being transcribed by live transcribe app in real time. This is how it works. It writes down every single word and there is no limit for live transcription. This is absolutely free and truly unlimited. And it's working really well. If you like this, please give this video a thumbs up. You have the transcript on your mobile and the audio on your computer. Let's bring both in one place by sending the transcript to your PC. Tap on the transcript then choose the option select all and then copy the transcript. Now send it to your PC. You can do it by using your email or some note taking apps. I prefer using Evernote, a free and powerful notes organizer and daily planner. Make a new text note and paste the transcript. Now you may be thinking why do I have to download and install Descript software when audio could be played on any media player. The answer is there may be some errors depending on how clear the audio was. If the audio you played was very noisy, then you may have a higher number of errors in the transcript. To make the transcript error-free, you need full control over the audio player and text editor simultaneously. That's what the Descript editor offers. Now opening the Evernote on my PC, here is our recently created note. Copy the transcript from here and go to Descript transcription software. On the bottom left corner of your screen, you will see your audio file. Below the audio file, you see the automatic option is selected by default. We need to change it to import transcript option. If you already have a transcript, this script allow you to sync it to the corresponding audio for free. click transcribe and now paste the transcript here. Then hit sync. Now audio is in sync with the transcript. Correcting the transcript is now very quick. Hit the space key on your keyboard to play the audio. Hi this is a live recording. If you are looking at your screen you will see whatever I say is being transcribed by Live Transcribe app. I could not find any error so far. You see every word that is being read by the audio player is also being highlighted in blue. If the highlighted word is an error, simply press E on your keyboard. It will pause the audio and you can immediately correct that error. But this is not an error so I will leave it as it is. Then press enter key to play from the next word. Every single word and there is no limit for live transcription. This is absolutely free and truly unlimited. You can also highlight a word manually like this. Periods and other punctuation you can just type directly in there and it corrects the capitalization automatically.
