Podcast Advertising Tips, Overcast Update, and New True Crime Series (Full Transcript)

Our iOS podcast app Overcast has had an update, including a rebuilt Voice Boost function that boosts the volume of podcasts to make them easier to hear, this version significantly better, normalising all podcasts to minus 14 LUFS. Acast has hired Brian Danzis as Managing Director of The Americas. Danzis joins from Spotify and will quote lead the next phase of our expansion, according to Acast's COO. Samsung's version of Alexa is called Bixby and we link to how to get your podcast on it today. Don't worry, it's really easy, it's just, well, 50 steps. Apple Podcasts is looking for a Head of Partner Relations who will oversee all new and existing relationships with podcast creators. You'll find that at podjobs.net today. Podcast Magazine's first issue is now available for free. It's an electronic glossy magazine with a number of long form articles and an excellent advert on page 40. Speaker 1: US news network HLN launches its first podcast this week. Down the Hill, The Delphi Murders is launched on Wednesday, a true crime podcast focusing on a crime in Delphi in Indiana in the US. The podcast was previewed at the IAB Podcast Upfront in October.
